So I've constantly been reading about how Sajan are best friends and should fall in love soon, etc, etc. What I don't get is that...where is this "best friendship" that everone seems to be talking about?

Samrat and Gunjan became friends and then Samrat titled her his best friend because she understood him so well. Gunjan even called him her best friend because he took care of her and respected her. But when Sheena came along and asked Samrat to choose between the two, Samrat chose Sheena, even if Gunjan told him too. It was still his decision at the end and he chose Sheena. Why? Where did his friendship go at that point? Does he not know in true friendship you don't drop your friends for anything!!!?
Why should they fall in love when they clearly do not have a true friendship going? I think if anything Gunjan understands her friendship so well and only that's why she has been able to fall in love with Samrat, but Samrat does NOT understand what friendship is, thus he is unable to fall in love.
I think what we are seeing is still his developing thoughts about friendship and relationships.
As we were shown in the beginning Samrat has not had a good hold on relationships in his life, so his dealing with Gunjan's friendship is a little weak.
Why should we complain when we see a developing character?
