Yash Raj accused of Plagiarism!

02 Jul 2009

It's been almost a week that 'New York' has released, and now it's a part of a controversy. It seems that an upcoming writer Suchita Bhattia claims that Kabir Khan's directed movie New York is based on one of the two stories that she has written. She said that she had been to meet Aditya Chopra in 2006 and he had asked her to keep in touch with the director Arjun Sablok. When she narrated her story to Arjun sablok he appreciated it a lot but didn't contact her after that. Suchita Bhattia has registered her scripts with the writer's club, and before filing a compliant against Yash Raj, she has sent a mail to both Aditya chopra as well as Arjun Sablok complaining about the plagiarism. However, when she did not receive any response from them she went ahead and filed a complaint with the writers association. Take a look to know director Kabir Khan's take on this.
