Who would be the most shocked in the Sharma house?

great poll 😊 i think padma..cause she is the one who didn't want jyoti to get married and now she is getting married to a big & rich family so i think padma will be shocked the most...after that i think KK or sudha...one of them...sudha might turn into devika after this

If she turns into Devika, I hope she goes and crashes the wedding. Although that would be a big if question - how would she, since Uday and choti-ma aren't at home, but at the wedding. And since Devika doesn't know Jyoti, why would she bother about where to find her?

However, here is what I think may happen as far as Devika goes - once she is Devika, she'll go to the club, not find Uday, go to his home, and there, will be told where the wedding is. Then she may surface there as Devika, and join and be Uday's date. I just wonder whether Jyoti or Kalpana will recognize her with all her altered mannerisms, and since Devika would be the date of Jyoti's new devar, she will have no choice but to be really sisterly with her 😆😆😆

I love the idea of Jyoti and Sudha being post marriage sisters. Of course, that plot would be more complicated due to the fact that Uday doesn't know of Sudha, and Jyoti doesn't know of Devika. Hope these 2 can merge w/o anyone finding out, and that Sudha accepts Uday as her fiance, and Jyoti is put in charge of welcoming her from the groom's side. Downside - Jyoti won't be able to assist w/ Sudha's wedding preparations - maybe Kalpana will have to help see her off (since Padma, Dadi and Sushma probably suck in this department), and Jyoti and choti-ma will be doing her varan. Except that given the high profile role choti ma has in Pankaj's wedding, shouldn't bari ma get to do the principle honors in Uday's wedding?

i think brij, because he would have wanted to marry jyoti after he dumps sushma because she is now useless. padma is not giving out any more gold necklaces after jyoti leaves right? and no ones gonna hire brij or sushma either after they get kicked out of jyotis wedding. hopefully.

Well, it is obvious that all of them will be affected to a considerable degree. I'd vote for Sudha, Brij and KK for different reasons.

In Padma's case, I don't see why she would be shocked - having been exposed, and having burnt her bridges w/ Jyoti, she has nothing more to lose no matter what Jyoti does. If she expects Jyoti to continue funding the household - something that Jyoti plans to do but hasn't been doing of late - that would happen irrespective of whether Jyoti marries or not, particularly given that she now knows what Padma had been thinking all along. Nor will she be missing the joy of decking Jyoti up, since she hates her.

I agree that Brij is shocked, but I'm not following his thinking - after what he did to Jyoti, how exactly does he expect her to return to him? Just a few sorry's, like when he first tried disrobing her, and she firmly stopped him? I think he'll be disappointed that his plot has failed this time, but I don't think he'll be devastated, which is what I was implying above.

I think KK will be deeply saddened that Jyoti didn't think him worth informing, let alone inviting, although he will probably recognize that he has only himself to blame for this situation.

However, of all the family, I think Sudha will be the most devastated, given that the one person who loved her and looked after her well being is gone for good. If she becomes Devika, I wonder whether this time, it won't be for good? OTOH, Sudha can't just disappear - KK, Sandeep, et al would be on the hunt for her, and if Devika wakes up in the morning in Uday's house as Sudha, she won't know what's going on. This end needs to be tied up
