Should cancer stop you from finding love?

There's a saying:
"it's better to love and lost than to never have loved at all"

Now, let's look at the following scenario.

You find out that you have a life-threatening disease, which is almost impossible to cure. You immediately think about your girlfriend, whom you dearly love (and she also loves you). You were going to propose to her soon, but learned of that disease...

Should you continue on to propose to her, or break-up?

In that case, you were already in love...
How about in a case where you find love AFTER you were diagnosed with the disease?

Which bollywood film did you see?😆😆

Seriously though , in both cases , i believe the time frame for which the person is expected to live should play a major role.

If he is going to die soon, what exactly is the point in marrying?

Every individual is different - we all think and act differently, so I think the answer varies.

Perhaps the person with cancer will want to be selfless and not tie the other person into marriage.

And to bring another angle to your topic -
Many European women are known to marry men that have been given the death penalty in the US. Some say that is their stance against the death penalty. Other say it is out of love. Is it right for someone who has been given the death penalty to bond in marriage?
