Hi!

So I've decided to start an (Mini) FF on RM... I've been inspired by all the FF writers on the Forum and all my Resortians and WWRM writers 😃...

A special mention to Imane... Her 'Jeenay Ke Ishaarey and other FF's are the reason I started reading FF's at all 😛... If I become half as good as her (and the other FF writers here) I'd be more than happy 😊...

I still need to think of a name for my FF so if you guys have any suggestions feel free to post them 😃...

Anyway here's the Intro!

As she walked through the double doors of the hospital she couldn't help but smile. Today was her first day in Sanjeevani... As a volunteer.

Muskaan had always wanted to be a doctor, until she realised how demanding the hours were that is. Then she thought of becoming a nurse but again, she wasn't a 9 to 5 sort of person. Muskaan liked living life on her own terms.

So when her friend Riddhima told her Sanjeevani was looking for volunteers she jumped at the idea, this way not only did she get to choose her own hours of work, her chances of meeting cute doctors were pretty high too!

The intro's kind of short...I'll add to it if I get any more ideas.

This is my first attempt at writing an FF... So let me know what you guys thought of it. I'm not going to write a Character Sketch, I'll leave you guys to form your own ideas about the characters it's more fun that way 😊.

I'll update the FF whenever I get time or whenver (an idea of) the next part comes to me (I can never follow a schedule 😆). I have a basic storyline in mind right now but that's about it, the finer details still need to be worked out 😛.

I'm not much of a writer so do comment and let me know what you thought of the intro it'll help me improve 😊...

Part 1:

Muskaan made her way towards the Nurses Station.

'Oh Jee, Aapko kis se milna hai ji?' beamed the woman behind the desk.

'Dr. Keerti ka office kahan hai?' Muskaan asked smiling back

'Yahaan se sidha jaye, Woh pehla wala... Kya kehte hai ji... On your right' she finished, pointing towards the corridor.

'Thankyou Sister... Lovely' Muskaan grinned peeking at the namecard on the desk.

Knocking on the door she waited to be asked in.

'Come in' Bellowed a voice from inside

Muskaan turned the doorknob hesitating at the threshold.

'Aap andar bhi ayengi ya wahin kadhi rahengi? Please do not waste my time' Said the woman sternly.

'You must be Dr. Keerti... Meh Muskaan... Muskaan Chaddha' Muskaan said excitedly, extending her hand towards the woman.

'Yes, I am. Mere paas boht time nahin hai... I have a surgery in 10 minutes, here's your file isse parlijiye... It'll explain everything you need to know about your patient and Sanjeevani' Dr. Keerti handed Muskaan a purple file whilst heading out the door in a hurry.

Muskaan flicked through the file, scanning it's contents quickly.

'Room 325' she said out loud to herself.

A little while later, Muskaan stood outside the room, having FINALLY found it. Entering quietly, she looked around.

'There must be some mistake' she thought as she read the chart next to her patient. 'Maybe I've come to the wrong room?'

'Aik baar phirse file check karleti hu' she said out loud.

Looking up from the file, she sighed.

No... This was him alright... This was her 'patient', Mr.Rahul Grewal.

In her hurry to start work, Muskaan hadn't read the file properly. She'd forgot to check what exactly was wrong with her patient.

Mr. Grewal was in a coma.

Well... Here's Part 1 guys. I hope I didn't disappoint 😊... Again, I know it's short... Par kya karun 😆... I just write whatever I have in mind. I'll try and make the next par longer 😛
