Part 2

Muskaan sat down and reached for a magazine. The file said she had to talk to Mr. Grewal but she felt awkward, how could she talk to someone who doesn't respond back? What would be the point? Besides, What would she say?

'Pata nahin kis ulti kohpri (brain) wale insaan ne yeh suggestion diya tha!' she mumbled, talking to herself.

'That would be me' Muskaan spun round hearing the voice, she proceeded to explain herself, only to be interuppted once again.

'It's ok' the man laughed...

'Main Atul' he said extended his hand towards Muskaan 'Rahul ka best friend'.

Muskaan took hold of his hand shaking it.

'Nice to meet you, Main Muskaan yahan ki new volunteer, woh sorry about before... Main toh bas aise hi...' she smiled apologetically.

'No worries' Atul grinned back.

'Hey Rahul, mere bhai... Mere dost, Kaise hai tu?' Atul moved towards Rahul's bedside.

'Mast hi hoga... Dekh kitne araam se letah hua hai' he joked.

'Rosie tujhe boht miss karti hai yaar, Saath ayi hai, Tujhe company dene ke liye'

Muskaan looked round expecting some tall leggy brunette to step into the room, when nothing happened she looked at Atul confused,

'Rosie ko bolo andhaar ajaye, bichari kabh ki bair kadhi hogi, usey saath main andhar ley atay na'

'Rosie toh yahan hai' Atul laughed aloud, pointing to a potted rose plant.

'Tumhe laga ki Rosie ladki thi?'

Muskaan looked down sheepishly.

'It's ok, Sab ko pehle aisa hi lagta hai' He laughed,

'Can I ask you something?' Muskaan looked up.

'Yeah sure... Poocho' Atul looked at her quizzically.

'How do you talk to him so easily? She pointed towards Rahul as she asked.

'Just be yourself... Think of him as a friend and not a patient, here try it now' Atul smiled

'Uhhh... I don't know... Ok' Muskaan agreed

Walking over to Rahul, she sat down in the chair near his bed.

'Hello Mr. Grewal... Ummm... I'm Muskaan, the new volunteer... Ermmm... I'm here to keep you company' she grinned

'How was that?' She asked Atul nervously

'It was good lekin... Do batein... Number one, Call him 'Rahul'... He hates formality! And Number two, RELAX! Itna tense hone ki zaroorat nahi hai, he doesn't bite' Atul laughed

Well guys... Here's Part 2 as promised 😊... I know it's not much of a part and there's not much going on, I had to write his part because Atul's going to play an important part in getting RM together...

wow u brought atul as d one who brings them together!! he's so adorable even without it.. with it i'll just love him more.. =)
