Ram Kapoor's Udaan
After wrapping up two shows (Kasamh Se and Jhalak Dikkhhla Jaa 3), Ram will not only be seen hosting Rakhi Ka Swayamwar but he will also start shooting for few of his movies, like Udaan, Kartik Calling Kartik and Khalid Mohammed's next film.
Ram Kapoor will be seen playing brother to Ronit Roy in Udaan, it is the first time both of them are working together and maverick film-maker Anurag Kashyap has managed to bring them together through this project. It is said that their characters are quite contrasting in the film. It is written by Vikramaditya Motwani who had written Dev D before. It is a story about a father and son, set in a small suburban town Jamshedpur.
Apart from this, Ram will also be seen in a movie called Kartik Calling Kartik which stars Farhan Akhtar, Deepika Padukone and others. It is
produced by Farhan's Excel Entertainment and directed by new director Vijay Lalwani. Filming for this movie has started in April and it will complete by July end.
Ram will also be seen in Khalid Mohammed's next which is expected to start in October. Ram was last seen in Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding after which he disappeared from the film scene.
Indya hopes this new udaan marks a new beginning in his career.
