Hiten and Gauri: proud parents to be!
Small screen's most popular jodi Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan are now going to be proud parents as Gauri Pradhan admits her four months pregnancy.
Elated mum to be says, "Without a doubt, it's an amazing feeling! Even though you see this wonderful phase taking place in other people's lives, you only understand the feeling when it happens to you. Hiten and I are both very excited about it!"

The couple recently celebrated their 5th wedding Anniversary on 29th April (2009) and now the duo is expecting their first child. While rumor mills have been churning for quite sometime, this time an elated Hiten has confirmed the 'good news'. Gauri tells us about Hiten's first reaction on hearing the news, "Well as a matter of fact, we were both expecting it anyway. So it was not very out of the blue news for either of us! But when I did let the cat out of the bag, he was thrilled and is now on 7th heaven!"
We asked Gauri about Hiten's quote on a recent interview where he said that he would love to have twins. To this she replied, "I remember he did. But I don't know anything as of now, but why not?"
For three months the news was kept under wraps as the couple was being cautious and now after five years they give the news. Gauri tells us about it "Nothing like that. We didn't plan anything as such. Just thought we should start our family when the time and circumstances seemed fine. Plus with my break from work, the timing just looked right."
Although the actress tells us that they haven't thought about any names as such as she says, "It is too early for all that right now, so we haven't planned anything as yet. We haven't thought about the name too."
The actress also tells us about how her life has changed after she got to know about the big news. To which she replies, "It has changed to an extent. I take good and proper care of myself and Hiten helps me with that! I take good rest but apart from that, nothing much. Of course, physical changes have obviously changed and will keep on taking place. Since I can't go out or work out too much anymore, which can get frustrating at times, I read."
Since Gauri's now taking a break to bring in this new phase, will her career take a back seat? "Definitely, it will! I am going to make sure to give in all my time to this phase" she signs off.
