Who is only famous for her looks and not acting ?

Honestly i would say Katrina but then agai in Namaste London she di do some acting....nonetheless a tie between kat n deepika.

I think it would be Aishwarya. I mean she has done a very good job in most of movies acting wise. She has definitely proven her mettle. However, her beauty always overshadows her acting. If you notice whenever the critics review her movies they first talk about how she looks.

Katrina is just beautiful, has no talent.

I dont understand why Ash, Priyanka and Kareena are there...havent they already proved their mettle?...

the thing with Aishwarya is that those so called critics and a lot of bollywood fans hate to admit she has performed well in any movie. In movies where she has performed really well, those dimwitted critics end up talking about her looks or other irrelevant crap..

its like people either refuse to believe that she is a good versatile actor (for Bollywood) or have a totally different set of standards that they use to judge her compared to other actresses in Bollywood.. if she is a bad actor then there aren't any "good female actors" (mainstream) in Bollywood..

It seems people believe Extremely beauitful and Hugely talented are mutually exclusive...cannot be true at the same time.

for me all the actresses above have proven they can act well and look good especially ash,kareena and priyanka, the only exception is katrina who to be fair is a very bad actress as she still cannot even speak hindi properly , as for deepika shes still new so it would be unfiar to judge her on two movies hwere her acting wasn't specially tested, we will be able to see how good her acting is from LAK and alo her other movies like the one shes in with farhan. i think its really unfair how critics and other people don't give ash enough credit for her acting just because of how beautiful she is, she has given so many amazing performances like devdas, hum dil de chuke sanam, taal, choker bali, jodha akabr etc and yet shes judged much more harshly than say madhuri and kajol, i mean maybe she hasn't reached madhuris level yet but she can get there with more movies and i think she is proving herself to be as good as kajol and even rani.
