Saif takes his film Love Aaj Kal to the T20 World Cup |

Saif Ali Khan has tied up with the ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2009 to promote Love Aaj Kal. The cricket tourney begins in England from June 5. The film, which stars him with Depika Padukone, has him making his debut as producer.
Normally, production units tie-up with domestic competitions, this is the first time that an Indian film has entered into a tie-up for a global event.
Essence won't change
Dinesh Vijan, co-producer of Love Aaj Kal says, "It is a good tie-up for both of us. T20 is a new cricketing format but the spirit of the game remains intact. Similarly, our film unfolds from 1965 to the present, the process of falling in love has changed but the essence of a relationship remains the same."
He adds, "Both Saif and Deepika who feature in the film will be at Lord's for the India and England match. They will be in the commentator's box with Harsha Bhogle. It is going to be loads of fun. We will be cheering the Indian team till they get the Cup back!"
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film's look will also be unveiled at the competition.
