Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have rubbed shoulders yet again after Aitraaz but this time it is for a Pepsi commercial. The duo have been chosen as lucky mascots for the Pepsi Caf Chino campaign that tentatively breaks in the second week of this month. Power of Pink:
Priyanka Chopra
While the television commercial has been directed and choreographed by Farah Khan print advertisements have been shot by Atul Kasbekar.
We hear that the makers and actors have been sworn to secrecy by the cola giant in fear of Coke churning out a spoof.
Says Khan, "We have been asked not to reveal any details about the commercial. Our contract doesn't allow us to speak about it unless the ad is on air. I shot it about two months back and it was an amazing experience to direct Bebo and Priyanka on the same set."
Storyboard
Sources tell us that the duo have been shown as tough biker gals dressed leather jackets zooming around in cruiser bikes. As the story unfolds they transform into cosmopolitan ladies who while away time playing with hair dryers and rolling their eye balls at good looking men.
The message that the commercial drives home is that a normal day in the life of any smart girl can be made eventful with a sip of the new version of the cola drink.
Gal bonding
The actors too remained tightlipped about the hush-hush campaign. Says Chopra, "I'm out of the country right now and really cannot talk about it unless we get a green signal from Pepsi guys."
A source adds, "Bebo and Priyanka have turned really good friends while shooting for the ad. It was like an all women's team with Farah directing them and a few assistants being women."
