Yup Simran even I was confused, I thought of Maratha warrior Shivaji. But your post cleared it all. Even I agree Jai was superb in his expressions and performance. The Shiv Tandava perfromance was superrb even after hurting himself. Just unbelievable.

I really respect that about these contestants who go through so much pain from injuries during the dance or rehearsals..but they still don't let it be an excuse!
n the message built into Jai's performance was really touching. The people that believe in Shankar bhagvan would understand more, but overall I think that this episode with important wake up calls was needed! Its unfortunate that many people will overlook them, but at least the contestants and choreographers tried to get the messages out there so beautifully! :)

Agree with every single word you said. I'mn not gonna lie, i'm not one of them 'let's save our world and go green' people but this performance really touched me😳maybe cos it had more of a religious theme which an average indian can connect to instead of just saying don't kill trees/plants/nature. It shows that if we respect the one above so much, then why can't we respect his creation for us.
oo and I loved the ending and how it related to the idea of Kalyug and how if we continue what we're doing and destroying the world, then Shivji will come and destroy the world.
..and thanks varshadi😊
aur btw I thought a LOT of people call Shivji Shivaji with a silent a?😕maybe I was wrong..

SHIV ji

or
Lord Shiva 😃
Jai's Rudra Tandav Nritya had wonderful msg....Also how he depicted 4 Elements of Prithvi...Fire, Earth, Air and Water...
I am sure most hindus and Lord Shiva devotees get the msg....

Jai's tandav performance was brilliant. Terrence does really come up with beautiful concepts. Modern contemporary is expected but this concept was different and beautiful. In this kalyug such an awakening is needed for the people on earth. Please take care of mother nature....
