John, Shilpa to act in Reema’s comedy

Actors John Abraham and Shilpa Shetty will be seen together in Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd. The film, which will be directed by filmmaker Farhan Akhtar's assistant Reema, will also star Shabana Azmi, Farhan Akhtar and Konkana Sen Sharma. Talking about the film, Shilpa Shetty says, "Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd is a comedy. Yes, this is the first time that John and I have been paired together. I have always wanted to do a comedy and when Reema approached me, I grabbed the opportunity. I have yet to begin shooting for it."

Shilpa feels that comedy is the toughest genre in acting. She says, "Those who have worked earlier in comedy films have always told me that comedy is a serious business. I want to see how good I am at it. I have a sense of humour but I wonder if it will help while acting. I think the talent to make the audience laugh is God gifted. I admire actors like Kishore Kumar who excelled in comedy. Then there's Johny Lever. He is one of the best comedians in Hindi cinema today."

Shilpa Shetty is currently shooting Anil Sharma's Apne. She says, "I have just finished a schedule in Chandigarh. The reason why I said yes to Apne was because it was the first time, all the three Deols, Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby, have come together in a film. I play the role of Sunny's wife in the film." Ask her if her role was similar to the one that she had done in Indian, which also starred Sunny Deol and Shilpa says, "The only thing common to Indian and Apne is that both films see me playing the role of Sunny Deol's wife. My character in Apne is completely different from the one I played in Indian."
