Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have just been roped into the bollywood remake of Superman, conveniently titled Superaadmi.

Debutante director Desu Ali Khan feels that something of this calibre has never been witnessed before in the history of Indian cinema.

Speaking to one of our sources, Desu was quoted saying, "My venture will leave Krissh far far behind. I cant disclose too many details at the moment, but yes, Superaadmi is definitely on. Its a superhero flick based on the backdrop of global terrorism."

Saif and Kareena previously starred in the blockbuster movie Tashan, which broke all (disastrous) records in 2008. The couple, who have mutually agreed to keep their personal and professional lives apart, felt that such an opportunity would be lethal to let pass.

Speaking to our correspondent, Saif confirmed his presence in the flick. "Its true, Kareena and I have signed the dotted line. " He enthusiastically adds, "Such a funky plot has never been seen before. The last script that blew my mind was that of Tashan. I believe this movie is nothing like any movie I've done before. It will be a treat".

The title of the movie is one that caused osme concerns among the lovebirds. Kareena felt that Superaadmi will be heavily centered on Saif, while she woudl be given the less significant character. According to a source close to the couple, Saif requested Desu to alter Kareena's character to make it just as significant as his. "Saif was clear from the start that he would only do the film if, and only if, Kareena was the lead, " the source continues, "now rather than playing the damsel in distress, Kareena is now going to join Saif in some major action sequences as Super aurat, for which she has apparently decided to return to her size zero figure"

Desu Ali Khan spoke to us from the sets of the movie. "I really cant disclose too many details about the flick. It needs to be kept underwraps BUT..." she looks around.

"Kareena will be seen in a role unlike ever before. Infact, she got so excited she told me she would chop off her right arm, left ear, and only nose, because no actress in the history of hindi cinema has ever attempted such a character. I had to calm her down.
Saif told me he's never heard such a "funky plot" before. He tried to leak some of his Agent Vinod ideas into the script though, what with the mad scientist and saving hte world blah blah. But I put it to him straight. This script will not go through any further changes...except the last minute changes I choose to make. "

At first the title was rumored to be Jab superaadme met super aurat. "But Kareena told saif that she wasnt feeling the title, So Saif proposed, "Superlogo ki Race" '' continues a close friend of the couple.

"Finally, I had them compromise on Superaadmi, to which kareena protested, but I assured her that she's the surprise package of the movie. ", Desu puts in before signing out.

Well here's a treat that will definitely keep the viewers on at the edge of their seats. The couple are slated to begin the shoot right after wrapping up the shoots of their other productions Race 2 and Tashan 2. Yes, its none ot her than the green eyed crarina of bollywood, Kareena Kapoor. Pritam, who considers Kareena a muse, shares with India forum, exclusive informatin about two songs being shot for the movie.

"I'm extremely excited to be part of this venture. The last tiem I composed for Kareena, I gave the hit number marjaani. Everyone knows that I am the most original composer in bollywood. I dont know where htese lifting charges comes from." Pritam adds bitterly.

"One song to look out for is the romantic track between saif and Kareena, picturized during their flight sequences. After much thought, I finally had a brilliant idea. I proposed a song I composed and wrote by myself. The director, Desu was ecstatic when she heard the lyrics. She felt the song was made for her film. ORIGINAL lyrics like these are hard to find nowadys. The song is called falak tak chal saath mere, falak tak chal."

Pritam also admits that there is an item number. Hesitant to disclose, he warily continues, "Well...thsi movie is supposed to be kept tightly under wraps. All I can say is, if people thought mauja was a chartbuster, they will blow their minds when they listen to the second original composition I composed and wrote, "dard e kryptonite" filmed in the caves with radiactive pathars all around."

Rumors have it that saif is currently undergoing strenuous training to aquire 8 packs for this item number.

In one of the highlight sequences of the movie, we'll see a twist like never before. For the first time in hindi cinema (perhaps after aitraaz), its not the woman, but the man who is the damsel in distress. Some villainous in a fight sequence is succesfully able to pull down super aadmi's lungi. His izzat is about ot be looted, when super aurat comes to the rescue.
