The episode continues from the scene at Cheers where Deepu tells every1 about his bungalow. They congratulate him, but Deepu says there's a condition - he should use the bungalow for some business purpose. Everybody gives suggestions like a pub, cyber cafe, bookstore, etc. but Deepu comes up with the best idea - a coffee cafe. Everyone agrees, and say that Chetan can also work with Deepu, instead of going to Rwanda, and they can run the cafe together. Chetan is excited and starts talking about the wall coloring, the curtains etc. but Deepu says that he doesn't want to work with Chetan, since he is too immature and irresponsible. Everyone is shocked - Chetan is sad and goes away, Adi and the fat guy (forgot his name) also turn away from the selfish Deepu. đĄ
Meanwhile, Adi's family problems have reached a limit. Avantika has decided that she will not stay here any more, despite Adi's requests to reconsider. She says they will go stay at her dad's places, and Adi gets images of her father and ex-hubby grinning evilly at him. He says he wouldn't be comfortable staying there, but Avantika has decided. They go and say bye to the rest of the family - mom and bhaiya are still adamant and feel Adi will eventually come back - while Bhabs is sad n tearful.đ At Avantika's place, her dad and ex-hubby are surprised to see her back home so soon, and they privately take Adi to task, blaming his family for forcing Avantika out. When Avantika enters, they tell her that he's going to join the boxing/wrestling club that Amrit goes too. This scares Adi even more. When Avantika has to go to office for some important work, Adi, too scared to be left alone w/ the two men, begs her not to go, but no luck.
Deepu, meanwhile, talks to his Di, who is crying, sad about leaving Deepu alone, and whether he will be able to take care of himself. He says he'll be fine. The topic of Taj comes up, and Di says she cannot trust Deepu to take care of Taj alone - Taj will have to go to boarding school. Later, Deepu takes Taj to go cafe-scouting. They go to a cafe, and Deepu asks the manager strange questions like how many workers he has, and where he keeps the cash, etc, in an effort to get to know about the business, I suppsoe. This makes the manager suspicious that he is a robber, and he calls the cops, and waits for them while keeping an eye on Deepu anxiously. The cops come and grab Deepu and Taj and start interrogating them about their gang headquarters and previous robberies, even scolding Deepu for using a little kid like Taj in his criminal activities. Finally they convince the cops to let them go, and Taj drags Deepu away.
Chetan talks to someone on phone who has got him a job, but upon hearing the nature of the job, he claims that he's an account supervisor, not an elderly retired person! Nevertheless, he accepts the job. We find that it's a matrimonial service! Chetan has second thoughts, but just then he receives a call from his landlord who is asking for the month's rent, or else... Chetan goes in to meet the manager at the desk, who thinks he's a prospective groom, but Chetan corrects him, saying that he's there for a job. The manager explains the job - make the guy and girl meet, and get them married. He also adds that the job is based fully on commision - if the guy or girl reject each other, then Chetan doesn't get paid. Saying this the manager leaves early, leaving Chetan to handle everything on the first day itself. He meets his first clients. The prospective groom is a nerdy character who says girls always reject himđ. In front of the prospective bride, Chetan asks him about his hobbies during his free time, and the nerd says he likes to read porn magazines, but he has to hide that from his mom, as she might might beat him. The bride-to-be says, don't worry, you can read all the magazines you like, I won't beat you. She turns out to be a porn movie actress herself, and names some movies she's acted in. The bride likes the groom, but they don't agree on some stupid issues; guy apparently likes to be tied up and beaten w/ whips (bondage n stuff; I guess he's the submissive type), but the girl doesn't agree to that. Chetan tells the girl that it's nothing new to you, and requests her to agree, for his sake, but she refuses, not because she's averse to the idea, but because beating guys up with whips is a part of her day acting job, and she apparently doesn't want to bring her work home. Saying this she leaves, and Chetan misses out on the commission, and Mr. Nerd misses out on another girl.đ
The show's getting a bit over the top nowadays. Guess when Gaurav comes in, it will be a lot more sensible.
