fieldworking - your help needed

Hello Everyone,

I am a graduate student and currently taking a course which requires me to pick a subculture to explore and observe. I am interested in doing my fieldwork on I-F. I would appreciate everyone's help in help me explore the depth of I-F. Being a former member I already know many things about I-F, but I have to take an outsider's perspective and view I-F with fresh eyes. I would be grateful if you can answer my questions. There is list of questions I have and you guys can answer any of those you would like. You don't have to answer all of them or question you find personal. I just need a general consensus on the members of the I-F community. This will be totally anonymous; you do not have to tell me your name or any personal information. I would appreciate your honesty. If anyone of you want to PM me rather than post, that would be fine too.

PLEASE help me and give me an opportunity to put I-F on limelight for people from western cultures to see.

23. How do you like the current I-F look? ummm first it was complicated sort of but initially got used to since have seen many upgrades.Its more bright and vibrant now.

1. How did you come upon this website?

I needed to watch an episode of SRGMP 07 that I missed because of work (grr) and I didn't know where to go.. after I youtubed it, I saw a few people comment about IF and then I got interested and started frequenting this site.. it took me a few months to become a member though.. I just used to read what people wrote before I joined

2. How long did it take you to join it, i.e. become member?

Hahah.. looks like I already answered that.. it took me a few months.. I think about 2-3?

3. How was your first experience?

It was very good.. I realized that I wasn't the only one who was in love with Amanat and Junaid =P (SRGMP contestants)

4. How long have you been a member?

I had 2 other accounts.. I forgot the password to one.. and one got canceled during a glitch (where like hypens weren't working// almost a year ago) so I think about 2 years

5. Were you able to make friends easily?

Yes. A lotta friendly people out here

6. Do you feel that your opinions get appreciated on I-F?

It depends on what you talk about.. and how many people want to hear it.. like if I were to bash a popular show/character I'd get more people angry with me =P

Depends on how much time I have.. lol.. with school, work and a life, I'm happy if I can spare a few mins

Not very. Numbers are just numbers.. doesn't make any difference to me

It's great for people, especially those who live out in the west, so that we can all come together and discuss shows, which are like a huge part of culture in india, to those who care about the same things

I'm always honest about my feelings =)

It looks good.. I actually came back after 5 months.. so it was a welcome change

It's a nickname a friend game me

I just go on IF.. I guess it is similar with FB as well..
