Well personally i don't think there is any one description for this word because although it is a small word just four letters infact, it is one of the most powerful ones in the english dictionary and has a million defintions. However i do think this word is used so much more casually in todays society, as it doesn't just refer to feelings as people often say they 'love their shoes'.

What is the meaning of love?
For me i think love is when you experience feelings that you have never felt before and you feel like you are walking on clouds. Its when you put someone elses feelings before your own and you want to stand in front of them and take all of their pain and share in their happiness. I think true love is pure and never selfish.

For me love is when you have someone to share your tears and fears with, someone who can make you laugh and let you be free to spread your wings but who will also be there to wipe your tears and pick you up and dust you off when you fall down. I belive in love thier should be trust and friendship but also passion, which means their will be fighting, otherwise you are not being yourself.
