I love how this topic is full of haters of that certain female celebrity.

Whether Ash promoted that certain cream or not, who knows. All I know is that, that cream is not a fairness cream. yes you can go on and on and on with the argument but at the end of of the day, it is to get rid of dark spots. If I wanted to prove a point, I would just post a link to Aishwarya's "Lux White Glow" Soap. But you know it doesn't really matter. And yes please, other celebrities have promoted "fairness creams" some being SRK, Bebo and Aishwarya herself and before anyone calls me a hater, I am (was) a HUGE Aishwarya fan to the point that I was part of the original Aishwarya-Forever.com team.

^^ After you stated the 'white glow' comment, I viewed the advertisment for it. It claims the following: the soap would remove dead cells from the skin, provide a blush (glow?) to the natural skin color (if my hindi isn't completely skewed, that is) and provide protection from sun. Despite the name, no where does it mention that it brightens the skin. Sonam's commercial on the other hand states that the cream gives you a flawless complexion like a pearl. The narrator further comments that the micro-pearls (confused regarding the ingredient since the quality was near awful) "instantly brighten the skin" and later goes on to add that the melanocytes [sp] remove dark spots. There is a major difference in how the two products were marketed (as far as I can tell from the commercials).

I'm no hater of Sonam by any measure of the yardstick - I'm as neutral to her as I am to her contemporaries. However, I do not appreciate her (or anyone else who advertises fairness creams) making money by exploiting other's insecurities.

The same kind of article about Aish being a lier and endorsing a fairness cream was posted be4 here in this secton..The source was Pinkvilla...(You'll find the most rudest ppl and so narrow minded ASH haters there)..I posted this same True Match Foundation pic of Aishwarya...Pinkvilla people photoshopped this picture of hers nd put it on Loreal Fairness Cream ad pic..how far can some people actually go...!!! n as for deepika...bipahsa..priyanka..well they all are obcessed wid fair complection...its not like they are perfectly ok wid their dark complection..when they come on screen..they wear alott of skin lightning creams n plus alot of light is thrown on their face to make them look fair..
