Background information on Vaisakhi
Guru Gobhind Singh Ji, had called a very important meeting. He asked for five heads.Does anyone want to lay down its' head for the sake of our dharam,Khalsa. Each time he took one man, into a room, everytime he came out.. More and more blood was to be seen on his sword. The sangat (people watching), had been shocke by the happenings taking place.Then Guruji called all of the men to come out they were to know be known as Khande di Pahul.These men are to take all their learning by their Guruji and under go the first steps onto Khalsa. Vaisakhi is usually celebrated on April 13 all the time
.But to sad remarks, many people believe that Khalsa is due to change on their own will. Due to the Nanak Shahi Calendar, the celebration of this event is to take place tomorrow April 14th.
