Doing it, Kamasutra Style

Two contestants of a reality show perform a sexually-explicit dance act; TV channel mulls snipping portions where the duo is defining sexual positions, reports SOUMYADIPTA BANERJEE

In order to outdo each other on a dance reality show, two contestants — Jai Kumar Nair and Vrushali Chavan — ended up doing the Kamasutra act on stage, which left the audience and the judges gasping.
Zee TV, which hosts the reality TV show Dance India Dance, is mulling a few cuts while telecasting the episode. The channel authorities say Jai and Vrishali 'seemed all over each other' during the sexually-explicit dance act which they performed to a number from the Urmila Matondkar-Aamir Khan starrer Rangeela.
Mentor Mithun Chakraborty was visibly uncomfortable during the act and, reportedly, he too asked the production team to review the footages before airing it.
Vrushali, however, seemed a bit disturbed after the performance. She says, "I am sorry if I have hurt anybody's feelings. I personally don't how my father is going to react to it (the Kamasutra dance) and whether he will allow me home after seeing the performance. I hope that the audience accepts it."
Sources in the production team say some content from the dance will definitely be censored before being aired.
"We will snip parts where the guy and girl are defining sexual positions and almost showing the act of sex. However, we still haven't taken a decision whether we would tell the audience that we have cut certain portions," says a source at the production team.
