Among all the mistakes that Saloni did ..........namely ,
1] Tara pooja and neglecting her own marraige
2] Not prioritizing Nahar or his baby
3] Hiding Nahar's illness from family
4] Then hiding his death
5] Being indifferent to Amrit's fate and using him selfishly to protect Singh property
The biggest mistake she has done so far is not learning from these mistakes and encouraging Sawri to do the same mistakes by allowing her to walk on her footsteps . Even while going to jail Saloni doesn't learn and this is supposed to be noble and heart wrenching or something. All that Tara pooja has caused her to lose her marraige , her child , everything . When everyone turns their back on her it was the perfect moment to tell Sawri that you don't do the mistakes I did , child , you will lose everything like I did . Become strong and protect yourself , the world is a very bad place . You will be able to help others only if you protect yourself first .
Instead we see her being proud that Sawri has ' matured ' . But maturity doesn't mean being a loser all the time in life , and it is a mother's duty to teach a child the fine line that lies between maturing and losing , that virtue isn't weakness. Saloni never took care of Sawri and almost killed her trying to save Adi and even now , instead of lighting the proper lamp of wisdom in her child's mind , she isnt taking care of her . We cud have seen her giving Sawri practical wisdom and Sawri returning with a fire in her eyes , braving Tara and battling succesfully with Kamini . Being kind to Shweta by choice , but not bucking in front of her all the time , but we didnt see that .
Jiji died , igniting a fire of wrong doing in Adi's heart , but ironically we dont see scriptwriters using the same technique with Saloni and Sawri...........that she ignited a spark of wisdom in her daughter's heart . The same fire can destroy but if properly used it can give warmth too , but script writers didnt use it . If they had , we cud have seen Sawri vs Adi .........and it wud be interesting to watch their battle in adolescence and later in youth . Instead , afsos , we will see losing losing and losing only .
