A birdie tells us that Akshay Kumar was paid a whopper to walk the ramp at the recently concluded Fashion Week.
Buzz is that the actor got an additional amount (that too a whopper!) to make wifey Twinkle Khanna unbutton his jeans at the show!
However a bi...y socialite present at the event insists that it was the presence of Shah Rukh Khan and his bevy of beauties Kareena Kapoor, Kajol Devgan, Deepika Padukone and Preity Zinta that made the Khiladi jittery and resort to a last-minute gimmick.
"When Akshay came to know Shah Rukh was going to be cheered by top heroines, he got extremely nervous (that SRK would steal his thunder on stage as no star had come to cheer him!).
He immediately called Twinkle backstage to brief her about her act.
Initially, she was reluctant as she doesn't like gimmicks but when Akki emotionally requested her she couldn't refuse."
