April 1, 2009 Written Update

They all come home and look around the house, remembering their moments spent with Surya there. All go to Naman's room, and see him innocently playing with his toys. Menka holds him and asks forgiveness for what they were forced to do to his parents, but that they'd never let him feel the absence of a mother or father. Niyati comes there and promises that now she will be his mother.

The next day Nikhil is driving around naandgaon in his car (looks so out of place) and he spots Radhaji walking. He asks abt Jhanvi and reminds her that his challenge is still on; she tells him that an emergency had come up at home. Later, Radhaji calls Jhanvi and reminds her of their challenge and Jhanvi promises she wud be back there tomorrow. The sisters overhear this and tell her that after the puja tomorrow they wud come with her too. (here they come to solve Jhanvi's problem now too) Just then the pujari arrives and after looking at Menka-Sav, tells them that for Surya's soul to rest peacefully, in this puja they wud have to be dressed as widows. The women decide to have the puja done at the mandir so Baa is not aware of it.

Next morning everyone is waiting for Sav-Menka who come downstairs dressed as widows. They leave for the puja. At the mandir, the puja begins and everyone cries remembering Surya. At home, Baa wakes up and learns from the servant that all went to the mandir. Phulki tries to stop her, but when she realizes her efforts are in vain she decides to go along too. Baa arrives and sees the puja happening, and is shocked. Everyone is stunned to see her there. Baa takes a few steps back and trips on the steps of the mandir' and goes rolling down. End.
