Part 23:

Jai was standing near the window and looking outside in the dark and was lost in his thoughts when Bani came out changed into her nightgown... She went and stood beside him and kept her hand on his shoulder to get his attention...

Bani: Kya baat hai Jai.. Aap kuch pareshan lag rahe hain...

Jai turned around and smiled at her and took her into his arm... Oh this feels so good he thought,,, I am worrying without any reasons...

Bani could feel his turmoil, she snuggled further into his arms... tried and gave him as much comfort as she could...

Bani: Jaaiiii...

Jai moved away from her and looked at her... took her face in his hands and kissed her passionately... When they both parted both of them were breathing heavily...

Bani said after awhile: Jai... Aap mujhse kuch chupa rahe hain...

Jai looked at her for a while and said: Do you trust me Bani...

Bani looked at him, stunned at such a question said: Ofcourse, aap aisa kyun puch rahein hain...

Jai: Roshini is in town....

Bani was silent for awhile and said: And...

Jai: Bani tum ne meri baat nai suni.... Roshini town mein hai...

Bani: Tho kya Jai... Kya aap unse milna chahte hain...

Jai: BANIII... are you nuts... I cant stand that woman...

Bani: Tho phir kya baat hai... Aap pareshan kyun hain...

Jai looked at her, at her calm face... she was so chilled about the fact... least bothered as if Roshini's presence didn't make any difference to her....

Bani: Aap ko lagta hai unki wajah se humare bheej misunderstandings na ho jaayein...right???

Jai: I am scared... I don't want to lose you..

Bani: You wont... remember aapne Rano ko kya kaha tha... ki humara rishta dosti se shuru hua hai... aur jahan dosti hoti hai wahan vishwaas hota hai right...

Jai: Bani... maine tumhe kabie hurt nai karunga....

Bani: Jai... I know that... I trust you... I trust you more than I trust myself...

Jai: I love you Bani

He brought her face near his and kissed her for a long time... then carried her to bed... and then they were lost in their own world...

After awhile...

Jai woke up as he was thirsty... His He got up to drink water... Bani was still sleeping... She was looking so innocent even in her sleep that Jai couldn't resist himself... He came and lied down by his side... He removed her hairs that were following on her eyes... he kissed her...

Bani: Hmmmmmmm.... Jai soo ne di jiye na.... and turned and rested her head on his chest

Jai smiled at her and brought his arms round her and went off to sleep thanking his star for such a blissful life...

Morning 6.30 a.m....

The early morning sun woke her up.... Bani turned and found Jai sleeping on his stomach with his arms protectively around her... relaxed, without any worry...

She looked at him and thought... she was scared when Jai had mentioned Roshini... But she knew she trusted him more than anyone.... She needed to be strong for him.... She touched his cheeks.... She just knew one thing she wanted him to happy... Very lightly she removed his arms so that she didn't wake him up...

She went and had her bath.... and went downstairs to do her daily chores...

As usual her Jai woke up to her aarti... He got ready and went downstairs just when the aarti got over... Everyone was there... And for once he was late...

They all went to breakfast...

Ranveer saw the peaceful look on his face... and knew whatever was bothering his bro... Buns had sorted it out... He was happy... He knew that he was right when he had thought that they are made for each other...

After breakfast they all left for office.....

Part 24:

Krishna had gone with her sister Shobha to her friend Tulsi's house… Bani was alone at home as Jigyasa and Pia had gone on a college trip and Rano was at college library… Krishna had asked her to accompany them but Bani had thought that it would be nice let the three friends spend some time alone…

Bani was sitting alone when she thought of taking lunch for the Walia men and her brother to office…

Lunch had already been made…. So she got ready and went to WGI… Earlier during breakfast Adi had suggested a merger of DGI n WGI and making it to WDGI… Everyone was very happy with the idea especially Bani… It was her father's n Bade Papa's dream… They had merged earlier because Bade Papa wanted this decision to come from Aditya… He said he knew if he made the decision everyone would stand by it but he didn't wanted anyone to be forced into any relation… Now that Aditya had himself came up with the idea Bade Papa wanted to hurry up with it… So everyone was busy with the merger… Bade Papa wanted to do on her father's birthday… She knew no one would even know that it was lunch time… So she knew she had to take lunch for them…

She had just reached Jai's cabin when she heard Jai and Tarun Bhaiya fighting and Bade Papa was sitting on the sofa looking serious and Ranveer had that expression on his face as if something had hit him and Adi Bhai was standing with his back to the door and looking outside the window… All she could hear was Roshini's name… She knew something had happened and if she didn't interfere the matter would worsen… She stepped in the cabin…

Bani: Kya baat hai aap dono ladh kyun rahein hai…. Aap dono ki awaaz bhaar taka a rahi hai….

Everyone went silent in the room… Aditya turned at Bani's voice… Everyone looked at each other… no one knew what to say… finally Aditya spoke up….

Aditya: Bani… tu yahan kya kar rahi hai…

Bani looked at her brother, she could see he was fighting to remain calm and not to show her that he was disturbed about something… She keep the lunch box on the side table and walked near her brother…

Bani: Kya baat hai Bhaiya…

Aditya: Kuch bi tho nai… voh business ki baatien chal rahin thi bas… Hai na Bade Papa…

Uday nodded and said: Haan beta… Tu bata tu office kese…

Bani turned to where Uday was standing and said: Kyun maine yahan nai aa sakti…

Ranveer: Papa aur Adi Bhai ka voh matlab nai tha…

Bani led out a sigh… she knew no one will tell her what had happened except Jai… She went and stood by his side and took his hands in hers and looked in his eyes…

Bani: Kya aap bi mujh nai bataeinge ki kya baat hai…

Everyone was tensed in the room waiting for his reply…

Ranveer spoke up: Buns sach mein its nothing…

Bani still holding Jai's hand repeated her question: Jai… kya aap mujh nai baataeinge ki kya baat hai…

Jai looked at her for a long time and then at everyone else… saw fear in Adi's eyes fear that his baby sister might get hurt… saw Ranveer saking his head violently asking him not to tell the truth… his father and tarun watching him to see his next move… finally letting out a sigh he said…

Jai: Bani… voh jo hume Ajmer wala resort ka project mila hai… yaad hai maine bataya tha…

Bani nodded her head…

Jai continued… Roshini's husband's company is doing the interior decoration of that resort and he went silent…

Bani: and… she said slowly…

Jai looked at her, the quiver in her voice tore his heart… he knew he should had been silent but he didn't wanted any misunderstanding between them…

Jai: And… Roshini is leading the project…

Now Bani was confused… She didn't get it why Tarun Bhaiya and Jai were fighting or why everyone was upset… She knew this project was Jai's baby…. And she thought that they might have lost the project…

Bani: Tho…

Everyone was zapped including Jai…

Ranveer was the first one to speak…

Ranveer: Bunny you didn't hear what Bhai said… That woman will be working with us now…

Bani let go of Jai's hand and turned to her friend…

Bani: That woman has a name Ranveer… She was mean to your brother… she hurt him badly… She doesn't has one decent bone in her body… agreed but that doesn't mean you stoop to her level… I have never known you to be rude to a person especially a woman…and I very well understood what Jai said what I can't understand is why are you all upset and why Tarun Bhaiya and Jai were fighting…

Tarun: Bani none was want Jai to work with her…

Bani turned to Tarun and said: Jai won't be working with her Tarun Bhaiya… WGI will be working with her and what do you mean by saying that you don't want Jai to work with her… Are you telling me you have stopped trusting your friend…

Tarun didn't know what to say… He did realize that while fighting with Jai… he did so because he was worried about Bani… and that in a way he was showing his distrust for Jai… Everyone in the room was feeling the same… They knew they had wronged Jai…

Uday spoke up: We do trust you Jai… It's just that we know that she hurt you badly once and now that Bani is in your life… We don't want her to hurt either of you…

Jai: Papa I won't let that happen… Trust me…

Uday looked at Jai for a moment and nodded…. I trust you son…

Ranveer said: But why do you have to work on the project… I can also work on it…

Bani had it… she said: RANVEER… are you doubting your brother by any chance…

Ranveer: No… of course not but I don't trust her… Like Papa and Tarun Bhai and Adi Bhai I don't want either of you hurt… So why give her chance…

Bani softened her tone and said: You already gave Roshini a chance to hurt everyone by give her so much importance… It's not worth it… She is past… Live in the present…

Aditya had been silent and thoughtful… He knew Bani was much more mature than her age… And he knew what she was saying was right… They should all support Jai instead of doubting him… He knew Jai well… He would never hurt Bani…

Aditya: Bani…

Bani turned to her brother and said: Ji…

Aditya smiled at her and said: Mujhe bhuk lag rahi hai… tu lunch le kea aye hai na…

Everyone started saying the same thing that they were hungry and Bani started laughing seeing them all… She started serving lunch for everyone and then they all sat for lunch…

After lunch Ranveer went to meet Karan and Adi and Tarun went with Uday to discuss the merger details… Jai and Bani were alone in his cabin… After they all left Jai went to stand by Bani and made her sit who was busy packing the lunch bag…

Jai: I know tum ne kuch nai khaya hai… Sit and eat first and then do anything…

He served her and then ordered tea for them… His p.a brought in tea for them… He closed the door after she left…

Jai waited for Bani to come from the washroom she had gone to wash her hands…

As soon as she stepped out… Jai took her in his arms… And kissed her… It was a kiss of gratitude, of love… She kissed him back… The kiss for gratitude turned into a passionate one… When they parted both were breathing heavily… Bani was looking flushed…. She was blushing… And all Jai could think was taking her in his arms and make her his… But he knew Bani well… And he also realized they needed to spend some time alone… Some quality time together…

Jai: Bani… will you go out on dinner with me tonight…

Bani was puzzled with this query… She said: Dinner…. Koi party hai…

Jai smiled at her… and said… Nai… I want to spend time with you…

Bani was confused now… she didn't wanted to say no to him… but going out with him didn't look okie… even though they were married and all.. but what would she say to Badi ma and bade papa…

Jai said: I will arrange everything mom dad kuch nai kaheinge… quit worrying… you are my wife for chrissake…. Say yes na…

Bani smiled at his impatience and said: ji… kitne baje…

Jai couldn't stop grinning… 7 o'clock sharp…

Bani nodded… and turned to pick up the lunch bag and was about to leave when she turned back to Jai and said: sharp 7… and winked at him… and rushed out of the room…

Jai couldn't quit grinning… and then he decided he would have to be free by 6 else he would be late… so he went back to work….
