i've always been amazed by how fast things happened in kyph, how quickly they fell in love, and moved on from one misunderstanding to another, so NO, i don't think it's dragging at all.
But...i think this story had so much more possibility and potential in the beginning. now, it's gone the typical and repetitive way and that's the writers' fault for ruining kripa's character unnecessarily--she lost that innocence that i thought should have stuck with her forever, i wish that somehow this could be corrected and the story could move on as it should, with 2 completely polar opposite people loving and hating each other, each with their own insecurities but without this completely unlikely nonsense, esp. angad's reason for going to jail--if now he was released on bail, why did he go in the first place, and kripa did not SEND him to jail, she was only a character witness, ugh!!!
All that being said, i hope that KYPH redeems itself and continues because it would be a waste to cancel the sizzling chemistry that iqbal and neha ignit each time they are on screen together, and it's a show for a younger generation with its values and all but thankfully without the 3 generation, joint, extended family kitchen politics. it's about 2 ppl and their love story with all it's ups and downs, let's see more of that--incl. their fighting but let it be more believable and in a way that WE-the audience aren't completely disgusted with these 2 ppl that we have come to care about.
This show has a lot of good points and with a little more care and attention, the bad points can be ironed out, and with that being done, the show should definitely go on and on!
I think that sony and balaji made a big mistake with ending kutumb without it reaching its full potential, and i'd hate to see kyph end up the same way.
