Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan hints to Abhira that giving a chance can strengthen their broken bond

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Armaan decides to help Abhira learn Maira's favourite dance step, the one she couldn't get right during the last competition because of time limits. He encourages Abhira to master it so she can impress Maira. Together, they watch a tutorial and practise with a rope. Abhira notices that Armaan seems uncomfortable in his costume and suggests he remove his moustache and beard if they bother him. Armaan says he wants to keep his help a secret from Maira. Abhira tells him that Maira is engrossed in watching a movie, and nothing distracts her while she's watching. She knows her daughter well. Armaan then takes off his Punjabi disguise, including the moustache, beard, and turban.

Meanwhile, Kiara, worried about her future, talks to a photo of Charu. She seeks guidance about whether she should accept a promotion and better pay at work, even though she's not happy there. Kiara recalls how she had taken the job earlier just to avoid problems at home. Now, with the promotion in hand, she's unsure whether to choose this job where she is not happy or take Abhir's offer. As she keeps the job offer letter next to Charu's photo, it slips and flies onto the top of a cupboard. Kiara struggles to reach it but eventually gets it, only to notice Abhir's jacket nearby. Charu seems to urge her to choose Abhir's job offer instead.

Back with Armaan and Abhira, their practice continues. They perform the dance step well, using the rope. But soon they make a mistake and get tangled in the rope. Abhira points out that Armaan has tied her up. Armaan replies that now she's free from all ties. When Abhira tries to free herself, Armaan warns her that struggling will only tighten the rope. She manages to break free and comments on how weak the rope is. Armaan then reties the rope and says broken things can be repaired and made stronger, but only if you try. This surprises Abhira until Armaan clarifies that he was talking about the bond between her and Maira needing to be restored. They then resume their practice.

Suddenly, Maira interrupts and asks Abhira who she was talking to. Armaan quickly hides and shifts back into the role of Abhira's dance teacher. Maira questions why he's wearing glasses inside the house, and Armaan says it's just his style.

Maira decides to test the dance teacher's skills and makes Armaan dance with more energy. Abhira laughs watching Armaan's funny dance moves made for Maira. Later, Abhira asks Maira to go inside, assuring her about the dance teacher. Smiling at Armaan's cute interaction with Maira, Abhira playfully holds his sleeves, but soon both feel awkward and return to practising.

Elsewhere, Kiara meets Abhir and tells him she has decided to accept his offer, but insists that their relationship remain strictly professional. Abhir asks her about her sudden change in decision, and Kiara says she can't ignore Charu's advice, leaving Abhir chocked.

Suddenly, Abhira and Armaan hear Maira scream and rush to her side, finding she's hurt. Maira discovers Armaan was helping Abhira practise the dance. Armaan explains that Abhira deserves a fair chance, so he was teaching her Maira's favourite step. He asks Maira to keep this a secret.

Later, Geetanjali calls Maira to check on her injury. Maira tells her about Armaan's help.

Soon, Abhira finds Maira's phone inside her teddy and sees messages from Geetanjali. Meanwhile, Kiara considers telling the Poddars about her arrangement with Abhir. Geetanjali questions Armaan about his ring, and Abhira confronts Geetanjali for giving Maira a phone without their permission. Armaan is stunned.
