Saas-bahu sagas may have come to an end but reality shows are showing no signs of abating. And as production houses scratch their heads for yet another 'unique' concept a mom and child music reality show will soon go on air. Star Plus will offer a new singing based reality show titled Voice of India Mummy Ka Superstar. The show as the name suggests will feature children along with their mothers. The show is produced by SOL and is expected to launch sometime in April. The shooting of the same is slated to begin soon.
Informs a source, "This reality show will have mothers and their kids participating together. Most of these kids have participated in music based reality shows earlier. They are mostly the ones who got evicted in the initial stages of the show. Some of these participants are Kritika from Delhi and Yash from Mumbai. The shooting of the same will commence from 29 March and it is expected to air sometime in the month of April. The judges and the host are not yet finalised."
It was heard that Mona Singh was considered as the host of the show. "It was not just Mona Singh but also Shabbir Ahluwalia was approached for the show. But things couldn't materialise. We hear that the channel and the production house are trying to rope in duo Vishal – Shekhar to judge the show," concludes our source.
