I would have posted the trailer of 'Prince of Light' as well but that trailer has a serious blunder. Hence, I have refrained from posting it. Otherwise the movie was good - only the ending was 🤔 quite abrupt.

Okay Vibs, I am posting it here too. Here goes:

Vibs, the book I have is Part 1 and 2 of Srimad Valmiki Ramayana (with Sanskrit text and English translation) from Gita press. I got the book from amazon.com in the US. The book cover had the Indian address information and I am just copying that here. I hope the address is current. Here it is:

www.gitapress.org
Email: gitspres@ndf.vsnl.net.in
address: Gita Press, Gorakhpur-273005
Phone: 334721
Fax: 336997

For the US members if u r interested, I bought the books from Amazon.com. It was pricey (a little over $100) because it was hardcover but worth it. U can also buy it from Natraj Books located in Virginia.

Natraj Books (www.natrajbooks.com)

Springfield, VA 22150
Phone: (703)455-4996

Prince of light - was that the movie that had Jeff Rector playing Rama?

Have seen the trailer, but not the movie. What was the blunder (aside from the movie being set in the distant future)?

Prince of Light is an animated movie. Its not the one you referred to.

The trailer was excellently made except for a huge blunder.

The narrator's voice in the trailer said that Ram was banished by a brother. (Outrageous! Bharat would have killed himself if he had heard it)

The scene was as if Lakshman, hearing the crowd roar against Maharaj Dashrath banishing Ram says that Ram should not do this. But the voice of Ravan kicking out his brother was put into this scene (Be gone you traitor! I don't ever want to see your face again) making it look like Bharat was kicking out Ram from the kingdom.

Thanks secretz.

I was referring to the same movie.

I thought its title was 'The Prince of Light - The Legend of Ramayana'.

Chandraketu, it was the trailer for this movie that I did not want to post here. Its the trailer and not the movie which has the blunder. I have explained in my previous post about it.
