It is called an original soundtrack!!

I was thinking if I should write this post. But it has been nagging me for quite some time so why not!

I always wondered why shows don't create their original soundtracks? Especially these days. I would totally buy + download show music just like I do it to movie musics. I have noticed beside the amazing title track some show have, they are beginning to create one or two songs of their own. Miley jab hum tum...Choti bahu. For me it gets really irritating that they always use movie songs. Like for kasamh se jiya dhadak was used but balaji made up it's own lyrics and got a different singer. Hell why not make your own songs? same goes for Suna suna, which by the way used to be my favorite romanctic song till it was ruined for me. from then on whenever I heard the song I kept thinking of a oversized Jai and underaged Bani. Which by the way I have no problem with I love Jai bani jodi but I had a different setting in mind for the song before they kept using it for everything!!! I am so glad they haven't done it for KMH. Usually Hollywood movies don't create their own original soundtrack and use already made famous songs. Because they believe it might not works as well. Which I don't agree with. If a music is good then ofcourse people will be interested. Look at bollywood, we have a thriving industry based on Bollywood music. Asian dramas on the other hand have original soundtracks. And it is simply lovely!! Amazing!!!
