Gurdeep - I admire your courage in taking up a role which the main protagonist ran away from and in maintaining the TRP of the serial for a long time. Unfortunately, the storyline got so messed up now that everyone has sort of given up (including even Ekta and Balaji); nobody in their senses would blame you for what's happening to KS now.

Moderators may check up all the old posts of some of our members here who have been attacking Gurdeep crudely for such a long time, violating all the norms and rules of this forum. I think that would serve more purpose in maintaining the decorum of this forum!

Now that I am back from work, let me answer this post.

Whether we call ourselves defined or undefined, what defines us in life and what sets us apart and makes us head over shoulders is when we uphold what is right.

I have no problem with you defending GK, you are entitled to it. If you want to call PD 'A run away' to answer her calling then it's fine. If you want to appreciate some body who stepped in brave that's OK too.

I am not defending my friends for calling actresses names, I never did! I always said that people in the public eye, especially actors get a lot of criticism. If you call PD wooden, then you are entitled to do so. If you call PD ugly, then it is criticism about her physical appearance.

If you call RK a small elephant or a buffalo (Which one person did, flagrantly), then it is vicious criticism.

If they are calling GK a bad actress because she uses excess eyebrow arching, then it is criticizing her acting abilities. If they are calling GK ugly because of her arched eyebrows then it is undue and unwarranted criticism. If you are bringing personal habits, physical characteristics,then again, in my opinion it is malicious criticism.

Looks are begotten by genetics and upbringing. People have very little to do with their looks unless they have had plastic surgery.

I normally stay out of name calling. The only reason I posted this is to defend my friends and because you were going in their personal space.

The only person in the whole forum I dislike immensely did the same, that person got into personal space of some of my friends and called them atrocious names...The said person still does...It shows a very bad side of the person's character, some thing the parents would be ashamed of...If my kids did that, I would first coax them not to do it, then admonish them and then punish them appropriately.

I have no reasons to do the same with you, because you lost your temper when you saw your favorite actor got attacked. But please refrain from attacking people about their jobs, don't judge other people's jobs by saying IT jobs are worthless. You may be a doctor, lawyer, a helper of the humanity, a rocket scientist...It may make you a great person in your eyes, your family's eyes...but for most people, it is a job.
