I wonder how many year this show is going on and i see no improvement. I havent come across even a single episode which had some thrill or suspense. At times i feel this show is meant for kids, then they shud change the timings of the show :)

The characters like - Shivaji Satam (ACP Pradyuman) looks like a character straight out of some horor film

Dinesh Phadnis(Fredericks) who is suppose to give some comical relief is pitiable.

The doctor who is suppose to b a forensic xpert looks like a cartoon

What more can i say..is Somebody reading this..please do something and give us some gud whodunit show...

dude.. sorry no offense.. I very much respect ur opinion and its still welcome but THE SHOW ROCKS!!

Yes it is indeed meant for 'non - professionals' ... but even then its highly accurate.. the techniques they show in there.. exist!! All those methods... are real! Whatever they show is possible maybe not in the same way as they show for they need to show stuff in a 40 minute episode while in real life we gets days or even weeks to analyse stuff.

I agree there are loose ends but common the beginning is great always...

ACP is such a sweetheart... and neva luks like nething of a horror movie... Freddie I agree overdoes it.. bt he's nt pitiful.. I guess he is cute and adorable... who wouldnt love to have a hubby like him.. one who listens to u always!

See I know the show has many flaws but duh... no one is perfect... I would love if the show gets better but I dont say its bad for that

CID defintely has some drawbacks..specially as far as the recent episodes are concerned...but when you are commenting about a show which has been in air for 11 long years then you shuld remember that a oor show can't be running for 11 years......A show has been ending within six months...if it continues withut success....so 11 years is not easy to go...Yes..You can say that It has passed it's glowing springs....the golden days..are over....but certainly its not a poor show......

sometimes i watch it to kill my time during weekends...and i totally agree with you....even i could write such stories.....if they can't come up with something original and good,...they cud copy some english thriller shows...it wud help the show....
or mayb it simply is for younger audience....

hello.. what do u want them to show?? You know sth.. sorry I am not trying to get rude and I still say that I respect your opinions.. but whatever they show... takes in alot of effort... I know we all say that we can do better but the thing always is that who is doing it??

If you can do better.. please do go... and do it... we all would love to see..

I am jus trying to say common even a blind person can say that they are trying to get better... getting new stories every week for 11 years isnot easy.. still they are doing it!! Common..

I have to agree that the quality of the show has gone down...drastically. It's sad really, especially for fans like me who have been following the show from episode 1. 😔

They have drained themselves of all creativity. I really think the entire creative team as well as directors need to be changed. Bring on some new blood. Take a break. Forget all these pointless gimmicks like "Most Wanted" and "Water Crimes" and all. Go back to the good old fashioned mysteries and characterization. It can't be that hard now, can it? 😳

As for the procedures being real, actually they are not. At least not the stuff they've been showing for the past few years. They've left reality for sci-fi. Not that sci-fi is bad: it's my favourite genre. But it doesn't really go well with this show. This is not CSI you know. 😆

I want the show to focus on mystery/suspense and drama (not daily soap drama though!). Forensic science should be used to further the mystery aspect not take over it.

I love the forensic science part of the show too. But not in the way they are doing it nowadays. Earlier it was grounded in reality. Now it's sci-fi and that too, very silly sci-fi. And sci-fi is something that Indian television has never managed to do well. So it's best to avoid it. We can clearly see how CID's sci-fi elements are just plain silly. The earlier more real forensic aspect of the show worked much better. I want them to go back to that. 😊

I forgot to say one thing earlier: I completely disagree about Shivaji Satam looking like a horror film character. He is one of the few redeeming qualities left in the show. He's excellent. 👍🏼 The doctor has indeed become cartoonish, I'll admit. 😳
