Reasons why Amrita Arora's wedding is garnering so much media attention:

a)Even if she ain't a big star, she's got the who's who of Bollywood showing up at her wedding. Kareena, Saif, Gauri, SRK... the usual suspects

b)Because there's no other event happening; no big movies releasing, no star fights, nothing eventful that a B list srat's wedding is conferred a certain importance so that tabloids can fill their pages...

Big deal if Bachchans weren't invited. Thing is, neither was Amrita or her Khandaan invited for the Abhi-ash nuptials. 😛

The only reason many people weren't invited to the bachchan wedding was because Amitabh's mother was very ill. They wanted to keep it a small affair.
