Many people beleive that Filmfare is now reduced to one of the awards and not THE award of the industry.....the awards are won only by those stars who are present at the gathering....and the viewer/audience feel cheated.......It's believed that Filmfare usually screws up big time or is simply biased.......

For example:
Saif getting national award for Hum tum and best comic actor in Filmfare.
Ajay getting national award in 2002 but SRK winning best actor in Filmfare.
Karishma for Raja Hindustani over Manisha for Khamoshi.
Sanjay Dutt won the best actor award in comic role from Munna Bhai, but later the nominated him as best actor from Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
SRK got for DDLJ over Aamir for Rangeela.
SRK gave his best performance ever in Rabne.. as Surinder Sahani and he didn't win.

Do you agree? Which year/award made you feel cheated?

All awards are biased..but SRK deserved for DDLJ, there is no doubt about that

It is about time that Filmfare start a secret ballot procedure by the registered members of the India Moton Picture Association for these awards, like they do in Hollywood for the Academy Awards. Maybe then some fairness will start to surface. T

The Jury System for determining the winners leaves a lot of room to aid and abet corrupt practices.

If I have to choose between the two Khans' films DDLJ and Rangeela and better performance, then it's for sure DDLJ, SRK deserved it..........

In the history of awards one name always be shine which is Aamir Khan he kicked out all awards just he knows all are arranged base on performance, Yash raj group or some time buying so as per me its just party watch and forget because i am 100% sure all awards programe artifical otherwise no match Rangeela and Ghajini performance by Aamir.

I cannot judge the others saif and sanjay i thought deserve it but what were they upagainst..srk definetly deserved it for DDLJ that rangeela because i saw rangeela a few weeks ago and i felt so disappointed because i was expecting it to be really good.

Indian awards are popularity awards which i do not mind..

if the awards were eva fair...then naseerudin shah would have won for A Wednesday...he was the most deserving...n im sure many will agree to this as far as true acting is concerned...

n yes as far as i remember konkona didnt win any awards of best leading actress for page 3 as well...

awards are mostly given to stars...ppl wid a huge fan following...n its sad how other more deserving ppl are sidelined...genelia also in my point of view deserved an award..she was sooo natural but again jst coz she isnt a star she doesnot deserve any award...awards r sooo biased...

I felt so bad for Ash! She didn't win anything, not even the critic's award! She so deserved it! priyanka winning but great, but Ash should have won too! And yeah, SRK so deserved best actor for DDLJ, but not for Suri!! I think Filmfare should be like the Oscars, instead of the whole jury system b/c the jury is bias!!

SRK definitely deserved the award for best actor for DDLJ, but not fure Suri...because I think that wasnt his best performance. And to compare it with the others, this year they were just better. Hrithik deserved the award for JA. But dont know about the whole jury and voting system. yes sometimes you feel that some awards are just not deserving, but then every single actor put their hearth, sould and mind into an character. And if they win an award for that, we should be happy for them and congratulate them..because they know how hard they have worked for it. And winning an award (any award) is not that easy, otherwise everyone could win an award!
