I agree with you Shweta...
Nice episode I must say...
And Heer truly touched my heart too at the end when she finally broke down...Actually I remembered your post y'day and how you wanted to see her letting it all out for once....haha..πRaksha-I honestly was like what my wishes were heard sooo fast? kya baat hai!
I must say the whole episode was full of metaphors and motifs....Every word that P/G said sounded deeper than what the peripheral meaning could have meant...I do agree that his dialogues were the kind where you have to read in between the lines, but I still did not feel sorry for him. I think these dialogues are trying to reveal his character and the stubborness in his character as well.
The last scene of Heer, with her Prem, this present P/G, the beautiful b/g score (from Dor) plus Heer's final break down....masterpiece!!!! It went straight and tugged at my heart....and left a lump in my throat...πyeah man, the song was amazing-Shafqat's voice in the background was just heartwrenching. The use of such innocent moments between Premeer was just icing on the cake.
And coming to P/G's dialogs...more than what he felt for this present family...I think he meant something about his other family...
This was his exact dialog:
"Tumhare Prem ke paas sab kuch hai, phir bhi woh yaha nahi...
Mere paas kuch bhi nahi phir bhi mai yaha hu.....PAISE KE LIYE
that is life"
And while saying this he wasn't sounding careless or any such thing...he sounded really sad and some what resigned to his fate....which made him accept RR's deal first and now Heer's deal and bearing her treating him like dirt......We have already established that he is not a dangerous guy, neither is he a sleazy guy..he didn;t take advantage of a fully vulnerable Heer....I felt he was in dire need of a huuuge amount of money which is making him go through these unholy deals. Why did he need that money???Is there somebody who needed his help??And this,I think is going to be the connection between this P/G and our Prem..who was lost somewhere in the Delhi blasts..really? I didn't notice it that way, but it's good to look at another perspective. I actually thought he was more of that accept life as it is kind of person. I didn't ever think he was sleazy or anything, but just his whole dialogue delivery was on the whole like-it's life. And he really doesn't care about anyone in the family, it seems. I do hope all his background just leads to Gaurav being Prem~ that's all I want-a reunion of Premeer.
I don't know about you, but I felt bad for the guy as well...Especially considering he must be Prem with sever memory loss...just imagine what the guy will go through later...and more importantly what he must be going through now, no???
And that mandelin...boy o boy...what a perfect prop it is going to be...a perfect connection between Prem of past and Prem of now...Me thinks the day Heer will allow him to touch that Mandelin, she will see her real Prem automatically playing the instrument to Prem's tune......I think that is what the creatives were angling at by showing a random 'touch my Prem NOT' scene....
And moreover, Mata Chauki is coming up....and Heer is already annoying the heck out of him...Who knows??May be he will just blurt out why he had to sign up that deal with RR and accept to faking Prem....and may be we will finally get to hear his side of the story....
Oooops...sorrry...for making this thread a predictions galore.....I meant to share my analysis of the episode but it ended up with more than that...
Raksha
π Don't worry Raksha...nowadays all we can do is predict and hope. I think the dialogue of Gaurav's after Heer told her not to tough Prem's stuff was just so hard hitting. He was so true, it's so ironic, no?
