CONGRATULATIONS TO SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE! CONGRATULATIONS TO A R RAHMAN!

The movie won:
Best Picture
Best Director
Best adapted Screenplay
Best Cinematography
Best Film editing
Best sound mixing

and A R Rahman won BOTH best background score and original soundtrack for Jai Ho (shared with Gulzar) These are the only 2 music awards in Oscars and he was nominated for Oo Sayya as well.

Congratulations to the film and Rahman. We are proud of our Indian Mozart and musical maestro!

Also, congratulations to Resul Pukkuti for winning the award for best sound mixing.

Congrats to the entire cast and crew of the movie. All the actors, all the kids, the technicians. Every single person involved in making this wonderful film that makes all of us very proud as Indians.

Would like to add tht slumdog millionare won 'BEST FILM EDITING' as well...

and i want to congratulate the entire cast n crew of d movie.. ar rehman and all the indians who im sure at this moment feel proud n humbled to receive an honour such as this..

I'd like to add a special note dat i personally feel relly humbled to be a part of the city dat rahman is from and to b a part of the same school dat rahman is an alumni of...

Firstly, Congrats to the movie and its entire team of cast and crew!
Secondly, congrats to Mr.A R Rehman.
And i think we are all proud and happy that they have won the awards at the oscars and wish them well, as they have brought great pride and honor with the awwards to every indian
the movie itself was very well deserved! :)

But, I hated how they pronounced Mr. A R Rehman's name wrong!
they prounced it rekhman 👎🏼
instead of saying it properly!
