Rano tells Ranbir that she cannot marry him because nobody trusts her in that house and they thought she is a thief which is a very big insult for her. Nothing is more important to her than her self respect. Ranbir tells her that his family now knows she is not a thief, he told them the truth. Rano says he told the truth that's why they believed. She says she wishes she knew if who the real thief is. Ranbir wants to tell her the truth but stops thinking about Guddo's happiness. He says he can't ruin Guddo's life for his happiness. But Rano is tells him again how she was insulted and nobody cared to talk in her support. Finally Ranbir tells her its Sukhi who is the thief.
Everyone at Maan house is eating together when Shanno comes there and asks Biji why she is not eating properly. Vicky then starts his tirade against Rano. He says she is too arrogant and thinks too much of herself. Preet should never have gone to her house to ask for her hand in marriage for Ranbir. Preet says she did it for Ranbir. He was going to leave the house; otherwise he would have roamed the streets like a Romeo.
Kamla and Sukhi are discussing about Rano's rishta in Maan house. Kamla says she surprised that Preet asked for Rano's hand for Ranbir by coming to their house and she is all the more shocked that Rano said no. Sukhi says Rano is a stupid girl who gave away such a good chance. Kamla says it is good for them. If Rano becomes Maan's daughter-in-law she will have more respect than Sukhi. She will become the Maalkin and that's not good for Sukhi. Rano comes in and Kamla shouts at her for disrespecting Preet by saying No. She doesn't like Gullu, she likes Ranbir but doesn't want to get married to him. What does she want? Sukhi goes away from there on the terrace .
Rano follows Sukhi to the terrace.She tells him she knows its him who stole the neckalace. She asks why would he do such a thing? He did not care about his father or Guddo? He let those people insult her and never said a word in her support knowing she was innocent. Sukhi says he did it as revenge. That snob Tina had insulted him thast why he did it. And as for supporting Rano, they didn't listen to her why would they listen to him. And if the Maan family comes to know of this truth then Guddo will have to pay for it. And he asks her why she cares for now since she already said no to become their daughter-in-law. Rano says if she becomes Ranbir's wife or not; if she becomes Maan family's daughter-in-law or not she will always take care of Guddo's well-being. She will let no one hurt Guddo.
Rano is standing near the window with tears glistening in her eyes. Guru comes there and tells her to listen to her heart. Rano and Guru are talking in the hall when Guddo comes there with tea. She gives tea to Guru and goes away. Guru asks calls her and asks her why she didn't bring tea for Rano. Guddo says she angry that Rano said No to Preet. She tells Guru that Rano has actually said no twice to Preet. First for the car and now for the marriage. Rano comes near Guddo and Guddo looks away pretending to be angry. Rano calls her Nanad(sister-in-law). Guddo is happy that Rano called her nanad. Then she looks at her hand and says she did not wear the shagun bangles. Rano wears the bangles( She has agreed for the wedding ).
