But like the other times his made about a 100 promises to all the contestants over the past seasons that this one willl too remain un full filled.

Im sure if he has Rajdeep singing a song for him he will have all the other contestants of the yrs knocking at his door. Oi humara gaana kahaan hai hum 4 saal ke liye intezaar kaar rahaiin!.
But we all no about anu ji's fake promises by now😉

i agree.......Rajdeep is talented & will definitely get his break soon.....👍🏼

But i really wish Anu Malik stops making these false promises......he's done that so often that now if he really does give someone a break people won't believe it......

Hey guys..I am not a great fan of anu malik..but when he promises the idol contestants songs..he does live upto it...

he gave everyone he promised opportunities...anu malik gave monali thakur an opportunity for the movie jaane-man..rahul vaidya, prajakta sukhre..all their first opportunities...

Biography

Thakur comes from a musical family, as her father is Bengali singer and actor Shakti Thakur^[1] and her sister Mehuli Thakur-Goswami is also a professional playback singer.^[2]

Thakur got her start by singing in school and college competitions and performing at local functions^[3], and then rose to popularity after placing ninth in Indian Idol 2, the Indian version of Pop Idol. She was never in the Bottom 3 until her elimination, and immediately after she was eliminated, judge Anu Malik offered to help her find a future singing opportunity,^[2] which turned out to be a playback song in the movie Jaan-E-Mann. This led in turn to the opportunity to sing two songs for the hit movie Race in 2008 - "Khwab Dekhe (Sexy lady)" and "Zara Zara Touch Me". She was originally scheduled for only one song, but her first recording impressed the film's directors Abbas and Mustan enough that they booked her for a second.^[1] "Zara Zara Touch Me" was enormously successful, becoming the fourth-most-played song on Indian radio during the first half of 2008.^[4] It also spawned a lawsuit by Taiwanese-American singer Wang Lee-hom, however, with Lee-hom claiming that "Zara Zara Touch Me" was too similar to the song "Deep in the bamboo grove" from his album The Sun and Moon in My Heart, which had been released in December 2004.^[5] In the suit, Lee-hom sought $320,000 in damages.^[5]

She also sang in the movies Golmaal Returns and the forthcoming Mr. Bhatti on Chutti and Dulha Mil Gaya^[6], and is working on her first solo album. As of June 2008, Thakur claimed that the album included a planned nine tracks, of which six had already been written by Thakur and Sachin Gupta, and would be in a blend of rock and classical styles.^[6] She has also sung a song "Khudaya Khair" in the forthcoming film "Billu Barber" starring Shahrukh Khan.Recently,she got nominated for best singer in "Screen Film Awards" for "Zara Zara touch me "

^^ he gave chances to only a few singers, but if you have followed through II, he has promised many more.. so there is still a long waiting list..

@cha_iqbal.........ya he has given a chance to a few of the contestants but he has made such promises to many more & hasn't fulfilled them.........i'm sure he makes these promises in good faith but i just feel that its unfair to raise the hopes of these young contestants when nothing might come out of it.
