February 16th, 2009 Written Update
Jhanvi is shocked to see Gauri there. Jhanvi explains to Gauri that she is going to work at getting her family out of the mess they are in, and Gauri thanks Jhanvi. She leaves and Jhanvi goes to sleep in front of God's idol. The pundit comes there later and after Jhanvi explains that she needs somewhere to stay, he lets her stay at the temple.
Niyati is carrying a pail of water up the stairs and she rebukes Yuvraj when he tries to help her.
Jhanvi walks around town looking for work, but when they realize she doesn't know English then she is turned down. Finally someone agrees to give her a job if she agrees to satisfy him, and she leaves from there disgusted. She goes somewhere else, where she is turned down and a guy sitting nearby gives her his card and tells him to meet her, cuz he owns a business and he is ready to employ her.
Jhanvi goes to his office later on. He tells her that he knows shes been wandering around the streets all day, with nothing to eat, and has been through so much today. He says that his employees will take her to their site, and she will find out abt the work there. They take her to a bar, where bar girls are dancing on 'Ringa Ringa' from Slumdog Millionaire. Jhanvi realizes the work they had in mind for her. The owner of the company reaches there and tells her that this is the best someone uneducated like her (why does this guy know so much about her? First he knew how she was wandering around all day, now he knows shes uneducated? Confusing!) can expect, and she should take this opportunity to her advantage by taking up this job… and soon she will be known as 'Jhanvi Rani'. Jhanvi is hurt and disgusted. End.
Precap: Saras is going out to get something when Kajri stops her and tells her that shes not going anywhere.
Comments: Wow, todays episode looks like it was lifted straight out of Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. All the situations are so similar, her motive to earn money to help her family is the same, even the end result was the same.Guess the bar is where she will be meeting Surya, since hes a business tycoon now!
