Mama mia!


The lady who earned name and fame playing the bad lady in tellywood just turned proud mommy of a beautiful baby girl and also moved into a charming apartment on the fourth floor of a Lokhandwala housing complex in suburban Mumbai. Chikita Kukreja caught up with the pretty new mother settled into her comfortable dwelling.


"This is the most favorite corner of my house, and I feel very comfortable here"

Ivory abode

The lady has a beautiful two bedroom flat which includes a study too, in which she is not allowed to enter, she says! The vivacious house is done up in all ivory shades, as "it is very easy to mix and match different draperies and dcor with ivory. Doing any darker shade would mean sticking with the same shade for long!"


"I love Buddha, and I even love this very spot"





Buddha believer

The drawing room has some beautiful drapes and awesome lighting with bamboo and greenery and lamps which go very well with the furniture and walls. About the the Buddha who occupies pride of place in the drawing room, the lady explains, "I love Buddha figurines and so, he holds a special place in my drawing room and I love that spot a lot."



"We are still not done with the interiors because I've been having sleepless nights from the past 15 days form the day I got God's most beautiful gift and planned to

name her Rishma! Before that, I was not in a state to go out shopping. Whatever we have in our house has been done by my mother, husband and myself, we never took the help of an interior designer. baby's cot, which had been used by me as a baby too! I have some very fond memories attached to that cot and therefore called for it especially from Indore, my home town."
