Some Hardcore realism in SP

The rules that they show for a low caste child not to be allowed to sit as a represantive of the goddess is very true . It does happen all over rural India , and on a subtle level , still in urban areas .
The thinking of the Laali Maasi prototype was also very realistic and true . That too happens. For all the tremendous fantastic nonsense they show in SP , it is commendable that SP comes up with hard core realistic social issues that educated people refuse to acknowledge or talk about .
But where SP has significantly failed upto this point is to show how to tackle these issues . The character of Kaveri has gone free for any amount of atrocities she has committed . Saloni has constantly refused to fight her and looked the other way simply coz she is her brother's wife .
But will her treatment of Nikita or Sawri finally make her take a stand against Kaveri ? This battle as a viewer i wud love to watch . The fact that relationship status makes a person immune to being punished however villanous he is is simply unacceptable to me as a viewer .
Sawri being finally discovered to be a high caste Rajput child is not the answer to this and wont be the ultimate slap on Kaveri's face . She has to learn a lesson of her life and it shud be delivered by Saloni who shud finally lose all sympathy for her .

true koolsadhu. I would love to see that too. I don't understand one thing isn't sweta a low caste girl too as i remeber.........................
The other thing is all these serials show that these people adopt the kids to show they have very big heart and all but they always mistreat them later such as nikita here as kaveri herself got her in the first place, in choti bahu shastri and devki are traeting her very badly and showing fake love to her all the time atleast amma is saying what she feel. They just listen and go away........shastri ji forget that he has to marry her too but noo his vishaka got married and he is ganga nahaye, devki send her daughter even thogh she is not married just because its her daughters future.........
hum ladkiyan they also got a daughter who is adopted and severley mistraeted by family members and the father who says for him she and her daughter are equal was the one to kill her .........first
does this mean that adopted kids are bad and they are your servent .....or don't this make all the adopted kid feel bad for them selves .............what do you guys say.................................

meenu2007 ..........

i don't like to generalize but 90%of the time they don't ever show adoption in the right spirit in Indian serials . Indian serial mentality is to show adoption like some big favour or upkaar on the child being adopted . Also , it is often shown as a sign of largeheartedness on the part of those who adopt .

In reality Adoption should be none of this . It is a mutual need......as much as the baby needs parents , so do the couple who adopt need this opprtunity to satisfy their paternal and maternal instincts and experience the joy of moulding a human life . No one is being large hearted here , all are in it for themselves . Neither is anyone doing favours . Western soaps understand this concept , Indian soaps simply don't get the drift of it and show extremeties .
What about loving Nikita and Sawri simply boz they r beautiful children and bring immense joy ? Will this argument ever be shown in Saat phere in a public humiliation of Kaveri by Saloni ?

Indian serials need to advance in their thinking .
