Its a tossed salad, bc cultures dont really fuse and melt together..There are green things, carrots, peas, olives (my fav) and onions, but they hold on to thier values and upbrining from where they came from..Its like me, I am Indian, but when i go to school I dont leave my Indian-culture at home..I bring it to work/school its called Aloo Ghobi and chapati! woot! Maybe Ladoo if im lucky😛
(this is what my prof said in college for emerging socities with various cultures, except the Aloo ghobi and ladoo part)..😊

🤣🤣🤣 Khaana pakaane wala pateela nahin mere bhai
The melting pot is an analogy for the way in which heterogenous societies become more homogeneous, in which the ingredients in the pot (people of different cultures, races and religions) are combined so as to develop a multi-ethnic society. The term, which originates from the United States, is often used to describe societies experiencing large scale immigration from many different countries.

yes, I doubt if some people know these concepts similar to what you wrote. I started wondering about it when I realized that people think that Hindus have millions of Gods. They don't understand the concept that God is one and others are its forms.

In any case, I myself have some gaps in theological knowledge and need to read more.

question still remains what are those practice or practices that make Indian culture? OK! let me start
1. Believing that there is supreme power above us, that is constantly guiding/watching/helping/ready to punish(if need be). Termed as God / almighty..mentioned supreme power as some might be not nece'ly beleive in God😉.
2. Respecting elders, no matter what.
3. Bringing or thinking more on humatrian lines while performing normal day to day deeds.
4. Trusting good human being beyond par.
...
...
more to follow...lets agree or contradict these four first... feel free to add more...just trying to jump start this one..

Yes, there are so many good things about India culture for example:

5) Amity, brotherhood and sharing.

We care for our friends and people from the society more than what people do in many other countries. We are always ready to share the misfortune and even feel that it is our birth right to know all the secrets of our friends.

There is so much sharing in our society that a thing like 'personal car' or 'personal something' does not exist sometimes.

Compared to this, I find that some other countries are too rational. For example, If two guys become friendly they think that they are gays. Another example: They have to take an appointment before meeting their parents 😛 and friends.

My Indian neighbor drops by for a katori of shugar or a tablespoon of lal mirchi or some adrak every now and then😆 We cook at home a lot so my pantry is always well stocked up.
I go to her whenever I forget to save the jaaman for dahi. She is the only one I know apart from me who uses Indian jaaman for dahi. So yes, this len den is quite precious for both of us. Keeps us entertained and in touch with our desi roots.
We always end up staying over for a cup of tea and some gossip when we go to each others place with our katories😆 What's even best is sending the dish we prepared with one of the borrowed ingredients to each others house.
Man, I am so glad to have another delhi-ite living in the same neighborhood! It's like being at home away from hom wali feeling.

a part of indian culture ->

whenever something like a very hot song, a condom add , or below the belt joke comes up,
which the teens as well as the parents can understand,
either they all start laughing a lot without eye contact,
but mostly ,
they make expressions as if "yeh kya keh diya"
"hamein toh kuch samajh hi nahin aaya " http://www.bautforum.com/images/smilies/shifty.gif

though the parents know that the children understood it and viceversa.
