Chachi means aunty right? What does thayee mean? PLS PLS PLS answer the 2nd question. also if chachu means uncle why do gunni pratham call alekh chachu? alekh is naveen's cousin so he is gunni's cousin one generation removed...

even if u don't answer the last question can u pls pls pls answer the first and second.

thayee also means aunt..thayee is the older brothers wife and chachi is younger brothers wife

Thayee is your dad's oldest Brother's wife

and

Chachi is your dad's youngest Brother's wife

That is why

Why are the kids calling Saalekh - Chacha-Chachi

if they are older than Naveen

hey!

even though alekh and ranvir are not naveens real brothers, but cousin-brothers, the chachu and thya relation still stands.

chachu and cachi means the childs father younger brother and his wife.

Tau and Tayee (also called taye ji) means the childs father older brother and his wife

So Alekh is older than naveen so his kids would call him Tau and tayee And Ranvir is younger than naveen so his kids would call him Chachu and cachi

thx 4 clearing that up but ur wrong there...there is no blooper cuz naveen is older than alekh but coz he's chhot'maa's son he has a lower status than alekh.

Since thayee means dad's OLDER brother alekh should not be called thayee/thaya because he is younger than naveen.

If Alekh is younger than Naveen then why did Avni touch Sadi feet when Sadi first came in the house??? 😕

It is for sure that Sadi by age is younger than Avni but still Vasu told Avni to touch Sadi feet 😕 😕

Because Vasu is the BADI maa and Ambika is the CHHOTI maa. Alekh is badimaa's son and naveen is chhoti maa's son so avni being naveen's wife had to touch sadhna's feet.
