youre right, lara shouldnt have recieved it either...but lara recieved the award partially because of the contributions towards the UN...she is an active UN goodwill ambassador....and they dont just make you an ambassador to do nothing.........

but its a shame that they have overlooked the olympic winners to honor entertainers who get honored one way or another...so much for boosting the confidence of the youth!

who cares abt rajeev gandhi awards........the person , this award is named after, itself was currupt, u just belong to gandhi family doent matter what u do but an award will start on ur name for sure....in future many ppl will get Rahul Gandhi and sonia Gandhi awards too, and i really wont mind if ppl like Raju, Telgi get this award😉😆

anyways i still belive akshay deserved it....if SRK, aamir , dhoni , bhajji can get it why not Akshay and aish got it early, she didnt deserve it...atleast not now

Aishwarya deserves it !! It's not about Hits or Flops but about her brillant performances in her movies. Where is the problem in her nomination? I'm sure Amar Singh has nothing to do with that. If they chose her, why not be happy for her.

And she will be honored by the French Gouvernement soon ( not thanks to Amar Singh). I'm proud so of her !

i hve to agree with the article!

it is all politics!

wat did ash and akshay do to deservet he award? and bhajji...wasnt there a hgue fight abt him and symonds...ok i agree that dhoni brought the team up from the pits but still i feel that the olympic champions deserve more regonition than these guys..come on amitabh got two awards..next i am sure that they will award it to abhiskeh cause he is the only one now who doesnt hve on in the bachchan family!
