Akshay Kumar is back with Khatron Ke Khiladi 2

In the second version of the adventure game show, celebrity participants would be accompanied by commoners.

Those with an ability to perform under pressure and love and passion for adventure will be chosen through auditions to be held all over the country. At present, registration process is on and it will end on February 15.

Auditions will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow and Ahmedabad. The channel will soon be revealing the names of the celebrity participants on the show.

Speaking about the return of the action extravaganza, Ashvini Yardi, Programming Head, Colors, said, Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2 - is going to be a notch higher than the last season in terms of bigger celebrity participants, the tough level of challenges and even Akshay Kumar.

The inclusion of the common man as a co-contender will definitely create a lot of excitement."

"Akshay will be playing a much bigger role than just of a mentor and a host - something definitely to watch out for," Yardi said.

The show will be produced by format owners Endemol India.

"The second season is a double dose of everything from action to stunts and from the contestants to Akshay himself. Apart from all the action on screen, a few lucky viewers will get to experience the exhilaration of the show first hand," Endemol India Managing Director Deepak Dhar said.

Fear Factor - Khatron ke Khiladi debuted in July 2008 as one of the first shows on the newly launched Colors channel. Model-actress Nethra Raghuraman was the winner of the inaugural edition of the show.
