THE POTTER STARS LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO GRINGOTTS
OPEN the vaults at Gringotts Bank! Harry Potter and his pals have conjured up enough money for three of them to land top 20 places in a new world rich list.
The young British acting trio of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are among the highest paid stars under the age of 30, according to America's Forbes Magazine.
Between them, from Daniel's role as Harry Potter, Emma's as Hermione Granger and Rupert's as Ron Weasley, they raked in 33.9million in the year to June 2008.
Daniel, 19, out-earned super-rich twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, as well as tennis sisters Venus and Serena Williams, new Hollywood hunk Zac Efron and the entire Jonas Brothers boy band.
With 23.8million to deposit at Gringotts or stuff under his mattress at Hogwarts, he even tied with US teen sensation Miley Cyrus despite the Hannah Montana star's TV series, hit CD, tour and book deal.
Daniel is one place above Miley because Forbes experts reckon he boosted his income with reported profit-sharing and merchandising spin-offs.
A senior Forbes spokesman said: "He will add at least 71.6million to his considerable wealth with his salaries from the final Potter movies and it is an indicator of the phenomenal popularity of the franchise to see his two co-stars there on the highest paid under-30s list."
The first of those films, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, hits cinemas in July, with the final episodes, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Parts I and II, due on screen next year and 2011.
