Celina Jaitley has been signed as a brand ambassador by Baba — a brand known for its tobacco products. She will promote a range of healthcare products produced by the same company.
Celina Jaitley
Jaitley tells hitList that Mansingh Deep, who acted as the mediator, and her manager Prakash Jaju, finalised the deal for her; the formalities were completed in quick time.
"I am an ambassador for Zaf, and have always been conscious of my health, fitness and figure. That may be why I was selected for this one," she says with a smile.
Reports suggest Jaitley has been paid a whopping fee for the deal. Refraing from disclosing the figure, she says, "Come what may, I will never endorse a tobacco product or paan masala in my life."
Shoots soon
"Baba is coming up with an array of healthcare products; they already have Catch Salt and Pepper, and I will be promoting those. I am still not aware if my shoots for this endorsement will be in or out of Mumbai, but I will be shooting with them soon, keeping my film dates in mind," winds up the actress, who starts shooting for Subhash Ghai's Apna Sapna Money Money (earlier titled Money, Money, Money), today.
The film, directed by Sangeeth Sivan (of Kya Kool Hai Hum fame), also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Riya Sen and Koena Mitra.
Anarkali role
Mansingh Deep had signed Celina to play Anarkali in his modern day adaptation of Mughal-E-Azam, tentatively titled Kaash Tumse Mohabbat Na Hoti. Is that film happening? According to Celina, the film is very much on. "We just had a few date hassles. We begin with it in February," she says.
Jaitley's other forthcoming films are N R Pachisia's youthful romance, Jawani Diwani (Emraan Hashmi, Hrishita Bhatt), Sanjay Gupta's psychological thriller Zinda (Sanjay Dutt, John Abraham, Lara Dutta) and Deepak Tijori's romantic comedy Tom, Dick and Harry (Dino Morea, Jimmy Shergill, Celina Jaitley, Kim Sharma).
