| 2009 is an important year for' Bollywood is a tough place to survive. Every Friday careers are made and broken. And in the case of some their careers just don't take off. We bring you a list of certain B-town inhabitants and new entrants who haven't wowed their audiences in a while and really need their releases in 2009 to be hits. Fardeen Khan: He was last seen being terrorized by Esha Deol's ghost in RGV's Darling in 2007 which didn't become anyone's darling! His attempts as a solo hero have failed (Just Married, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena and Dev) but he fares decently with an ensemble - Heyy Babyy is the case in point. He is not even the poster boy for Provogue anymore after having piled on the pounds (thanks to less work, we suppose). Vivek Vasvani's Dulha Mil Gaya was set to release in mid 2007 but got delayed as they didn't get SRK's dates. But the filming is finally complete and Dulha Mil Gaya starring Fardeen and Sushmita is all set to hit theatres this year along with stylish and stylized action flick Acid Factory and Abbas Mastan's comic caper Life Partner. So it definitely looks like a case of Do or Die Tryin' in 2009 for Fardeen! Sushmita Sen: In 2008, she hogged the limelight for not-so-right reasons. She was criticized for her weight gain and not so form-flattering dress sense. On the bright side, she became the brand ambassador for Pantene and Olay and also got a new boyfriend in the form of Dulha Mil Gaya director Mudassar Aziz. In 2009, she has Dulha Mil Gaya to look forward to along with David Dhawan's comic caper Do Knot Disturb and her production venture, Karma, Konfessions and Holi with a cameo by supermodel Naomi Campbell will also finally see the light of day. With all these interesting line ups, more than her, we are keen on finding out how 2009 will fare for Sush! Neil Nitin Mukesh: Mukesh's grandson was critically appreciated for his unconventional negative debut in Johnny Gaddaar. But that was in September 2007. Though the song Move Your Body continued to make audiences groove through 2008, Neil didn't have a single release in 2008. Sudhir Mishra's Tera Kya Hoga Johnny ' another alternative cinema film - is complete but it needs to run the festival circuit before it can release. Kabir Khan's New York is set for release in early 2009 and will finally give Neil the chance to prove that he is not a one hit wonder and can work the ticket buying masses as much as the critics.
