The doctor gives Gehna some form to fill if she wants to abort her baby right away. Bhairav tells him that they will need to consult the elders in the family first. Gehna tells Bhairav that she has decided to go home today without abortion. It was not because she had changed her mind, but because she fears that if she aborts today, Maasa would never forgive Bhairav and Sumitra as she would hold them responsible.
At home Anandi keeps bugging Suguna about what will happen next. Suguna remembers that she had to meet Pratap. She sends Anandi away asking for some water and she calls Pratap. She tells him she can't come to visit him due to the situation at home. She sees Daadisa come in and hurriedly hangs up.
Maasa comes in tired. Anandi comes there with water.Maasa thinks its for her and is happy. She sends Anandi inside to get some water for Basanth. Basanth and Maasa notice that there's no one at home. Maasa asks Suguna where everyone is. Suguna stammers that Gehna had fallen ill and her parents took her to the hospital. Maasa is super pissed to hear this.
Gehna comes home with Sumitra and Bhairav. Maasa starts yelling at Bhairav for taking Gehna to the hospital. Gehna stops her and tells her that it was because of her. She then tells Maasa and basanth that the doctor had advised her to abort her child since her life is in danger. Gehna also adds in that she has decided to abort too. Maasa starts yelling at her. Basanth too joins in. He starts scolding Bhairav that it was all his fault. Due to his brainwashing he had taken Gehna to the hospital without Maasa's knowledge. He says that he thinks that is his biggest mistake and that Bhairav just did not want Basanth to be happy and be a father. Maasa is shocked to hear all this and goes to her room.
Anandi in her room is again bugging Suguna with all kinds of questions about why everyone's upset. Jagya comes there too and asks the same. Suguna tells Anandi that Gehna may not have the child. The two kids don't understand and ask her the reason and Suguna is unable to explain.
Basanth yells at Sumitra and Bhairav some more and goes to console and apologise to Maasa. Sumitra tells Bhairav that they have to convince Basanth otherwise gehna too may die like Jamna. Bhairav decides to talk to Basanth immediately.
