hmm.. so tomorrow's the first match..
finally some cricket on Pakistani soil..after 6 months!!

To begin with the Pakistan squad selected for this ODI series, there are a few disappointments and surprises there..
Fawad Alam and Abdur Rauf's exclusion is just soo shocking!! Nobuddy knows wat wrong they did to receive this sort of treatment from the selectors...especially when both have always performed well whenever given a chance in internation arena..and also their current domestic performances are incredible!!!
Sohail Khan,Khurram Manzoor n Yasir Arafat's inclusion is a good step... and Umar Amin's inclusion is the biggest surprise and an unwise decision!! The selectors have brought him in place of M Yousuf!!!! They brought a newcomer to replace a master batsman like Yousuf!!!Umar Amin doesnt have any experience even wid the A- team!!! They picked him ahead of Fawad who's been wid the team for a year now..and does have some international experience! Moreover, Umar is an opener whereas Yousuf was a middle order batsman!!

Lol generalli I watch onli India vs ny team or Australia vs ny team..so nw as very countries r playing cricket..so me w8ng fr the 1st ODI to begin today...Good luck to both the teams..May the best team win..
Btw ya I agree wid Nimra(if I am not mistake) abt the fact tht why is Fawad Alam in d squad..Der are more experienced ppl hu cud hv been a part of the squad..Tho i rememebr Fawad Alam had played a brilliant knock against India bt he still needs to grow up..Hopefulli he can make his presence felt int he ODI's

Match is going well. Although no one is showing the match in The U.K, how weird is that right.
Pakistan are on to win, need 66 to win from 98 balls, no wicket has fallen yet, looks like the openers are on for centuries, hopefuly.

I've alwayz been a big fan of Khurram Manzoor.. very good cricketer..shows good commitment..He's alwayzz very keen on learning.. After the match Salman Butt said that 'it was fun batting wid Manzoor...But he asks a lot of questions!'😆
it was really good to see him score 83 runs in the 1st ODI (tho i think he shud hav gone on to make a 100)...
The best part was that he came out on top after being bogged down by the fast bowlers of SL.. It was a delight to see the way he hit those boundaries against Mendis!!

No doubt Mendis is the next big thing for SL after Murali!!
In the 1st ODi, he seemed off colour when he could produce nothing extraordinary against Butt and Manzoor!! Later on, Jayawaredene said that it wasn't Mendis' fault.. Both batsmen were playing him exceptionally well!! 😛
Butt and Manzoor were picking him nice n sweet but if u watchd the 2nd ODI, our other middle order batsmen (except Malik) werent really able to pick him...

i agree, pakistans main problem is that if the batsmen are all out we have nothing left, india's bowlers have batted well recently especial zaheer khan, harbahjan and irfan
