i am very much dissapointed by the recent epi of Bidaai.............................they r portrraying VASU to b a complete negative character.........................for which it has bcome very difficult 4 us to digest new scenes...................this whole idea of showing VASU-AMBIKA as sis.......................and then mking VASU ashamed to acknowledge it is JUST RIDICULOUS............................VASU had grey shades .......................but now creatives r mking her completely dark.........................i know there is no spice in the show without a villain..................................BUT WHY CHANGE A STRONG CHARACTER LIKE VASU............................all of a sudden they r showing AMBIKA TO B THE NEW VICTIM AND VASU THE VILLAIN.............................which seems very unrealistic now that she has even accepted Ragini..............................remember when she said to Sheetal that Ragini is a good girl and she loves Ranvir a lot..................there was no pretence in it.................PLSSSSSSSSS RAJANji DONT RUIN BIDAAI

Well, we still don't know the full story of what happened b/w them in the past.....Don't worry....The writers have been relatively consistent in depicting her character as morally grey thus far, there's no reason to doubt them now.....I wouldn't jump to conclusions about things like this without knowing the full story....

i see where your coming from, but i don't think that they are really changing vasu's character, she never seemed to be nice from the beginning. remember she promised Sadna that she would let ranveer marry ragini but she did'nt really mean it.... i think she always had grey shades in her character now they are finally showing them.

i dont find Vasu Negative... she is still grey.......whatever happened in the past we dont know however, there r ppl who think about themselves than anything else... Vasu accepted Ragini coz of her Sons happiness....though the decision broke the ice between her and her sons but it still makes u think deep down she isnt a bad person... She might change but gradually... she is grey more towards black side but then thats pretty fine.... Bidaai shows the characters grey not completely black and hopefully it wud retain it!!

I think the fact that Ambika and Vasu are sisters was another storyline that was initially hidden in this serial from the way beginning. I remember there was an episode where this fact was brought up and casually overlooked. To me it wasn't a a suprise that they are real sisters. I think vasu's character is the way it is and even though she accepted Ragini it was from the outside and that it brought her sons closer to her.

Oh well....l wouldn't say that the creatives have changed Vasu's character from grey to black. We have seen only one side of the coin so far in terms of Satyan's retalaition depicting his feelings and opinions regarding Vasu's attitude towards her sister. After watching Bidaai for so long I have come to understand that the creatives like delving in the depths of people's minds.....and going by past episodes, we know that when one of the character opens up his or her lines of vision, there is bound to be more than meets the eyes.
For sure, Vasu's silence just like Ambika's holds more water than just the simple prejudice of colour.
And Satyan did mention that too...but as human beings from a realistic point of view it's normal to give vent to feelings which are out of proportion ( though Satyan's feelings were rightly justified!)....than what actually might have triggered the reaction in that direction.....
I think that Vasu have kept quiet about her relationship to ambika because in some ways she might have wanted to protect her from the taunts of society...I'm not saying she's kind of an angel but afterall she is a sister and she does care to some extent for her closed ones. She has a way of dealing problems in her own ways and have been doing it for so many years now that she fails to see or may be doesn't even care the least whether it's right or wrong as long as it resolves her problem....
If we remember how in the past episodes, people would not leave a chance to compare Sadhna to Ragini whenever they were in public and still are doing it till recently...and will always do so unfotunately......and Vasu being a much stronger character than Sadhna might have just spared all these trials and tribulations to her sister by just cutting off the root of the problem...i.e denying the sisterhood between herself and Ambika...I can't portay her as someone who would put up with any kinds of critics for that matter!....well that was my point of view!.....😊
And once again I would like to applaud the production for such a fantastic way of crafting the dialogues in the closest sensible way possible....!!👏👏👏

Hands down I completely agree with every word you wrote!

They are making it like Aikta Kapoor show by changing back vasu character as dark.... they should just keep her character change the way it is

Personally if they change her character back to dark I think I would stop watching the show then because that would just be ridiculous.

Am confused that the Vasu Ambika sisters storyline is being seen as a big revelation - I am sure that when Ranvir first entered the show he mentioned in passing when he was greeting his choti maa that she was not just his chachi but his massi too; which is why I assumed that everyone has always known they are sisters... ...
